It’s been 64 years since a team from Edinburgh (capital City) has won the league

Of course it was better back then. It's pretty much a closed shop now. Celtic (15) and Rangers (5) of the last 20. Great for Celtic fans, obviously. And, to a lesser degree, Rangers fans. But for everyone else? Hmm.

1984 Dundee United robbed in European Cup Semi when Roma bribed Referee!!

1987 Dundee United UEFA cup finalists

Celtic also early 80s knocked out European Cup Latter stages by Real Madrid

Also add in a very strong Hearts team mid to late 80s where they were very unfortunate not to win league in 1986.

Was great to see Pittodrie full for United game and a reminder that a successful Aberdeen will be supported and they’ve always had a great travelling support
