Only posted because I actually felt it was interesting that Dermott criticises the VAR on the red card debate. Saying it only showed part of the incident in slow mo. I don't agree with him, I think VAR done it's job in this instance and there's clearly enough for the referee to admit he fucked up rather than double down.

As for the penalty, I tend to agree that it's factual rather than subjective. The referee clearly thought that the Motherwell defender got to the ball first and Lyons caught him. At real speed I don't really blame the referee here, but VAR for not stepping in and saying hold on actually...

So for me it's 1 major balls up by the ref, 1 major balls up by VAR (with addition of a minor balls up from the ref for the same penalty incident).

What chance have we got?
