Scottish independence

So it's a "No".
Now it's our turn. If an online petition gets support of 100k people then it has to be debated in the House of Commons.... so let's petition for an English vote on whether we want Scotland as part of the Union.
I have never before heard of a divorce being decided by one half of the marriage (well, settlements maybe), so let us have our say. So Scotland, it's a "yes" from us . Now sod off.
The effect on England's economy would be like the effect on the Euro if Greece were no longer part of it.

now the rest of us UK nations should have one too whether to remain in the UK or not

with an option to just exclude the jocks and let them go their own way
 
So if it's a no result can Alex Salmond be tried for treason? The crime of treason is the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government.

Sounds like he ticks all the boxes' to me.

Good point, last scotsperson tried for treason was by a queen called Elizabeth, history repeating itself?...

Alex Salmonds not a Queen is he, come to think of it could explain all the skirt wearing.
 
Yes campaign were counting on Clackmannanshire voting yes.
