I see Hearts got beat tonight. Pressure of being at the top of the league for so long beginning to tell?
Kilmarnock away is never easy and they’ve done relatively well under wee McCann. Still top of the league and all to play for.

Tough away day for Rangers today away to St Mirren who’ve just lost their manager. Anything less than 3 points and it’ll be really difficult to see them winning the league.

Mon the Buddies. Even a point. frustrate them and their supporters will do the rest.

When you stop and think about it, that last sentence is remarkable, given where you were back in early october. What Rohl has done there, with basically the same squad Martin had (can't remember you bringing in a whole load of players in january?) is amazing. Back then, it would surely never have entered your mind about winning the league, never mind now (5 months on) talking about maybe giving up on the possibility of winning the league. I'm too lazy to check, but I'm assuming that Rangers have won most points in the league since Rohl's arrival?

Rangers closely followed by Motherwell but that could have changed with them losing last two games.

I had not quite given up hope months ago as we had new , young team and I always thought they’d need time to gel. I always hoped we’d have a stronger second half to the season but if Martin was still here we would be nowhere near where we are now!

Rohl has brought the squad together and players have improved under a manager who knows how to get results. Confidence was through the roof but now we’ve hit a wee sticky patch it will be interesting to see how the players respond.

I have to mention Mickey Moore. I know from reading on here and elsewhere he is highly thought of but he has come on so much under Rohl. In recent years we have had Malick Tillman, Fabio Silva and Amad on loan but Moore is several levels above all of them. He’s still only 18 the boy has got a great future ahead of him

Rangers ahead. Very poor quality game so far. But I doubt that Rangers fans will be bothered about that. I wouldn't, in their shoes. Come spring time, it's a case of "fuck performances, it's all about results".

Not making excuses but the wind is shocking. Nearly as bad as the St Mirren pitch

As I said (or tried to!), I'm not levelling criticism. If we'd got the 3 points last night, whilst playing shite, I wouldn't have minded in the slightest.

But we didn't.

:-(
I wasn’t having a go. I agree it’s been real turgid football I was just pointing out the weather doesnt help anybody.

I spent an hour and half this morning watching my grandsons football in that weather and I’m just about thawing out now.

I think that might be it for City RE the league. It’s certainly Arsenals to lose now. The thought of Arteta winning anything leaves me feeling sick. He will be insufferable…. Even more insufferable than normal

Three points now separate the Top 3.

Going to be right down to the wire

Rangers had shout for handball v St Mirren when goal bound header is blocked Gogic hand. No penalty

Very similar to the one against Sterling in OF game when Celtic got a result changing penalty

I’ve just seen the United penalty when ball is hit off Simon Murray’s hand at edge of box and Penalty given

Cup game v Celtic Rangers have a goal bound shot blocked by Celtic players hand. No penalty

I am more than happy with all being penalties or none of them being penalties. All we want is consistency

I should add for fairness Rangers got away with one v Livingston earlier in the season! The standard of officiating is at an all time low and things have to change!

Come on Hearts don't bottle this. I remember back in the George Burley days they had a mentalist chairman who messed things up, i swear they could have gone all the way. It would be wonderful for Scottish football if one of the Old Firm didn't win and I don't think either sets of fans would begrudge them that if it did happen!!

You don’t think Celtic fans would begrudge Hearts winning the league? Hahaha
