Scunthorpe Utd v Manchester City |24th Jan 10| Match Thread

Pretty much what i expected first half, they were always going to come at us early on and did a good job.
But their attacking midfielders and the forwards cant keep that up all game.

We'll stop it up a notch second half, i have no doubt.

Oh and one more thing........ get the fuck off Robbi's back, he hasnt done much wrong considering the pattern of the game.

There's some real wankers in this thread with an agenda against robinho, he's doing ok all things considering fuckin lay off him and support the guy Jesus Christ

Agreed.

Leave Robbie alone. You want him to play with confidence? You want him to be back to his usual self?

Then support him whilst he is doing ok and he might just score a goal and hit the comeback trail.

Taking him off would be a disaster for him.

Got to say.....Irelands looking sharp.
I really hope he starts the 2nd leg. We need his creativity

Are you two watching the same game, Ireland looks like he isn't even trying, and he's been like that all season when he's been fit. I could be very wrong, but I've heard the odd whisper that his head's been turned ever since the Arse and the shite-hawks apparently made enquiries last summer.

Robinho has been poor.

If Benjani had hit those shots it wouldn't even be a debate.

nail on head!

we know benj is shit robbie isnt so whats with all the lame shooting?

low confidence is all...a goal will be all he needs.

I think you are very much in the minority... he made 4 great passes that should have led to breaks, before the assist... and then he created another fantastic chance and nearly scored.

Good performance, Robbie just needs a goal for confidence, like the look of Ibrahim, Boyato looking more and more a player each time i see him and it should be 2-0, their goal was a yard offside.

Keep the work rate up second half and we will run out comfortable winners.
