If ever there was a player who needed a goal, it's Robinho!

Very little of what he's done recently has had much conviction, although he still shows his class occasionally, but it's like having a girl on the team with the weak tackles and powder puff shots... I'm not slagging him off, just saying what I see. I really hope he gets it together because he should be our secret weapon and on his day can help tear defences apart, and if he gets back to full fitness/confidence then brilliant!

But he's nowhere near worth a starting place in the bigger games.

Half the people in this thread are just as bad as these fucking setanta commentators. Robinho isn't having a great game, we know he's low on confidence and form, but he's just getting slagged off for the most bizarre shit in my eyes. He was fighting for a ball when Scunny had possession, and the rag commentator says "Robinho loses the ball." Its a classic example of everyone being on the Robinho hate train and picking him apart, even when he's getting stuck in. I think he'd come quality again for us eventually, and maybe it would have helped if the fickle mob wasn't so abusive. Anyway, looks like he's off, and I for one will be sad to see him go.

Robinho has been as good as our bet player. His touch is masterfull. The back flick in the air to set up the counter late on was unbelievable. Yes he has missed the chances he has created himself. Oh no. Boooo.

I am all for not slagging off our players but also not for saying they are playing well when they are blatantly not. So far Robinho has had a weak game and to actually count a 5 yard square ball as an assist is a little desperate isn't it? He is clearly lacking confidence but needs to be told not to take on shots on the vague hope that he might actually catch one right and score.So far his efforts have been pretty bad.

on the ball Robinho has been fantastic, it's his finishing that is lacking. If he stays, it'd be great if he just got an easy tap-in because I feel if that happened then goals would start pouring in from him
