Seamus Coleman

Why would come to us to play second fiddle to Zabaleta? He would be a fool to leave Everton, a club that is on the up...

He wouldn't be 2nd fiddle to anyone in this division.

He's fucking quality.

Zab will start to drop off significantly if he carries on playing 40+ games a season.

The fact he's homegrown makes him an even more attractive proposition.

Coleman would displace zabaleta on current form and is far younger and as they say there is no room for sentiment at the top

That's the thing though he might be on better form but I still wouldn't class him the better player.

Obviously with his age he will go on to be a better player than Zab but RB is a position we need depth for not an upgrade. There are far more concerning areas of the squad we need to upgrade before RB.

Whos to say his form will dip and if it continues his price will keep going up and up

We'll look budget for Micah's replacement IMO. Sagna for £0 or Aurier for £8m both sound like decent deals. The priority is other positions, but we do need a competent secondary right-back. A broom stick would offer more than Micah has this season.

A shame Maffeo isn't a little older, Maffeo looks like he has what it takes but at 16 is too young.

Top class against the Rags,i didn't realise he had such pace..... there is even a bit of 'Bale' about his play.

Probably the best right back in the league.

I really like his mate Stones as well.

He's not homegrown as he signed for Everton from Sligo Rovers at 21.

Think he's quality but Everton would probably want too much and we need other areas strengthening. But if we did want to buy he'd easily get the same amount of games he's getting now because of how many competitions we're in. Kolarov has more total appearances than Shaw even though he rotates with Clichy.

Nope. After us signing Jack Rodwell I am now very wary of us buying players from Everton.

So you write us off signing quality young players like Coleman based on the fact City, knowingly bought a crock in Rodwell. Ludicrous comment.
