Sean Lock RIP

I don't know whether the cancer was a short battle but I do recall him returning to 8 out of ten cats a while back and I remarked he looked unwell
He definitely had an issue with his voice a while back, but it seemed to clear up in the latest series from last year.

But yeah, one of the best. Gutted to lose him. A lot of people slag off panel shows, but for me, he was an example of how good they can be.

I still regularly watch his bit about winning rectum of the year. And his Nazi Island bit.

That was genius

Was supposed to see him a couple of months back(8 out of 10 cats does countdown)at media City but turned up late so we didn't get in. To this day I don't know if he was on it as it hasn't been shown yet(I don't think?), though he was listed to be on it.

Shame, funny bloke. RIP

Really sad to hear this. He was brilliant and reminded me so much of my dad in his grumpy ways

15 storeys high is well worth a watch if you haven’t seen it

Gutted by this. He was one of my favourite comedians, had natural wit that many more well known comedians lack. 15 stories high is an incredibly underrated comedy too. Will be missed.

I notice that too... he looked thin and pale and his voice was quiet and croaky.
Really funny guy and is gonna be missed. I'm not keen on all those panel shows with unfunny egos...but he was an exception. He WAS funny.

Too often we lose great people too early, a truly funny man who never courted the limelight, but found some recognition for his immense funny bones, one of those who had a previous career but was just funny, and became popular due to his talent. I see him in the same bracket as Bob and Paul

RIP Sean, never bettered
