He definitely had an issue with his voice a while back, but it seemed to clear up in the latest series from last year.I don't know whether the cancer was a short battle but I do recall him returning to 8 out of ten cats a while back and I remarked he looked unwell

But yeah, one of the best. Gutted to lose him. A lot of people slag off panel shows, but for me, he was an example of how good they can be.
I still regularly watch his bit about winning rectum of the year. And his Nazi Island bit.
I notice that too... he looked thin and pale and his voice was quiet and croaky.Gutted by this. He was one of my favourite comedians, had natural wit that many more well known comedians lack. 15 stories high is an incredibly underrated comedy too. Will be missed.
