Season card renewal package has arrived

On the letter and I quote

However these improvements will require investment to ensure our facilities in this area surpass those of other leading European venues and meet with the CHANGING NEEDS OF A SECTION OF OUR SUPPORT

I 'll tell you what, I feel sick to the stomach.[/quote]
Yep. Begining to get the same feeling myself!!!
Will renew as normal this year and see about moving the year after. Just what English football needs..More corporate Wankers!!!!

Which section I wonder.

Probably the ones that currently don't attend, I've certainly never heard anyone say they want more corporate facilities. Just a quicker pint and bite to eat would do most.

Something I forgot to post.

In the package there is a car sticker which says

"Be part of it"

Are they deliberately taking the piss?

I'm renewing as normal in Colin Bell level 2 and just going to see if anything is said during the course of next season with regards to the development and upgrades. If the price increases are extortionate then I'll just have to relocate.

that's what i intend to do, but the risk is when we get priced out there might be nowhere to go as the spare capacity will have already been taken by this season relocaters. so then its down to paying the premium or bye bye.
not good

With the size of the family stand being doubled and the half of the North Stand being evicted, I'd suggest that this season is the best time to relocate because you'll have a wider choice than after next season.
The forecast on here is that season cards on level two will double in price, but I still want the club to formally give me an indication on cost for 2011/12 before I make any decision for this coming season or next.

thats not going to happen though is it, there would be a big rush to relocate leaving a mostly empty level 2 and that wont look good. and not everyone will be able to relocate as there just isn't enough room!!

So, will level 1 and 3ers have access to the 'improved facilities on the concourse'?

No.

However the South Stand
The place to be to get the atmosphere going at CoMS
All South Standers are encouraged to bring banners and flags. Food and drink outlets will be improved for 2010/2011

To be fair, employing one person that can add up in their head and has a decent grasp of the English language would represent an improvement to the food and drink outlets in the South Stand!

Don't worry, I don't think us South Standers will be dining out on mung bean salad, bruchetta and Pinot Grigio just yet.

Do you know for certain? I don't either, but that's what's predicted.

Does anyone have any suggestions in how to find out for definite?

This whole thing is reeking of Cook and his 'corprate visions'. It's a case of wanting to sell corprate packages at the expense of the grass roots supporters (the ones that played a big part in making the club attractive to our owners in the first place apparently) And this could backfire on the club big time if they are not careful.

It's the sort of attitude we expect, and have laughed at over at the Theatre of Debts......not what I hoped our club would do or how I expected them to treat the supporters.

Have to say also, the lack of camaraderie and support (and in some cases sheer mockery) shown on here for fellow Blues being evicted from the seats they have had from day one at CoMS is piss poor.
The place would be crashing with outraged posts if it was the South Stand......
