thats not going to happen though is it, there would be a big rush to relocate leaving a mostly empty level 2 and that wont look good. and not everyone will be able to relocate as there just isn't enough room!!

Do you know for certain? I don't either, but that's what's predicted.

Does anyone have any suggestions in how to find out for definite?

what i meant by it not going to happen is annoucing the premium prices for level 2 now

i am on level of Kippax (east), i just wonder if there are enough coperates out there to fill both level 2s , there always seems to be empty seats in the existing corperates

i also doubt there will be enough familys to fill north stand

i just hope the club has done its homework & this all works out, i have my doubts

Sorry mate obviously I misunderstood.

But it's only fair that we have at least an indication of cost. It's even in the fucking brochure that some may want to take the opportunity of relocating this season.
How the fuck do you make a decision if you don't know what the cost is likely to be?

And that's exactly the point!! Are they being vague deliberately? So we don't all make the move this year and leave level 2 empty?

absolutely agree with you 100%. the dilemma is that you relocate now and then find out you could have afforded the increase and lose your better seat that you currently have in the process.
what they should have done is say by whatever season it maybe, we will be extending or moving to a new stadium(obviously if that is the case) then all this wouldn't be so bad as there would be spare capacity.
city if they are not careful they will piss off whole swathes of support like the evicted north standers are already.

i think so as most people like myself don't want to move from the good seats we have now to the inferior level 3 seats

Just got this email from the club (I'm a North stander having to move)

Thank you for your email.

The club is entering one of the most exciting periods in its history. The continued investment from our owners in both players and the wider operation of the club, coupled with the recent announcement on the partnership with Manchester City Council for the wider development of SportCity/Eastland’s, will see significant changes in the development of the club over the next few years.

It is important that we start the preparation for this at the earliest opportunity.

One of the key elements for success is ensuring our stadium provides the right experience for all our supporters. The feedback we have obtained from surveys, fans forums, social networks etc. have clearly identified that our supporters have differing wants and needs on a match-day. The expansion of the Family Stand from North Stand Level 2 to incorporate Level 1 is in direct response to supporter feedback for the club to develop a family experience. The existing Family Stand has been full for some time and we have received a large number of enquiries from supporters who wish to sit in this area of the stadium. If you have received your 2010/11 renewal pack, you will also see that we are investing in the South Stand to enhance the experience for those wishing to sit in the more vocal part of the stadium.

In taking the decision to develop the Family Stand, we appreciate that some supporters will be directly impacted and will be required to relocate their current seat(s) from North Level 1 to other areas of the stadium. In recognition of this requirement to move, we will be offering Adults and those supporters aged 65 or over, a £50 discount on the cost of a Seasoncard in the Colin Bell or East Stand. Please note that this discount is not available on ‘Value’ Seasoncards. Alternative Seasoncard seats are available from £420 in the East/Colin Bell Stand Level 3 and from £475 in the East/Colin Bell Stand Level 1 (before the discount is applied).

We hope that you understand and appreciate why we have taken this decision. We remain committed to developing a supporter experience which we feel represents excellent value and in offering a different and improved match experience, tailored to the different requirements of our fans, we are hoping that there is a seat to suit everyone in the years to come.

In the renewal packs that have been posted to you, it details which dates you can move to specific areas. E.G if you want to move to West Level 1, Aisle 121 you can contact us between 12th and 14th June 2010 in which time, if current seasoncard holders have not renewed for next season you have the pick of seats available.

I've only been a seasoncard holder again since our move to CoMS, but there are some people sat around me who have been season ticket holders for 40 years +.
It really is a shabby way of treating life long fans.

This is just another in a long line of communication cock ups from the club .

I have know idea who the club communication officer is but they need their P45 pronto.

There is this with the fans not knowing what's going on , the proposed redevelopment of the ground and surrounding areas ,no one knows what's going on .

Add to this the ludicrous stories written about the club and it's intentions smack that communication on all levels with the fans , the press , and even within employees of the club leaves a lot to be desired .
