Season card renewal package has arrived

looking at the renewal book on the Cb & East level 2 pages, just look at the people sat outside the existing corporate sections of each stand, does anyone think we have anywhere near the required 'SECTION of Our Support- Supporters' to fill these areas? Its thousands of seats, even with fewer, wider padded seats, it is still 1000s.

where were this 'Section of our Support' when we played Scunthorpe & Fulham (twice) & west Ham etc, etc, and both corporate areas were virtually completely empty, and the club were offering cut price corporate experience deals to any f$cker. They didn't even get taken up then, unless everyone stayed in the bar all the game.

I will willing pay the increase this year, I think it is very good value, and I am all for the Sky blue revolution, but to be forced to move, and the new padded seat lies empty for most of the season is a right kick in balls, move me for a proper reason by all means, but not for this shit!
I am willing to pay a reasonable increase again next season, as I think level 2 are the best seats in the house, I really don't think the club needs to go this way at all, but by doing so, in my opinion means that the prices for the new section will be a hell of a lot higher next year.
I am absolutely pissed off,

All season ticket prices for all parts of the stadium (including level 2 CB and ES) are quoted on the OS and in the brochuer that each season ticket renewal will get posted. There is no huge rise in Level 2 CB or ES prices FACT.
Stop all this bickering and support the club.

east l2 block 209 £478 upto £525 thats £47 9.83% rise fact, could be £1000 next year for a better experience - no facts available

huge ,small drop in the ocean(finance) its all about your personal circumstances ,

£250 no frills for me , the best match experience for me is to see them win no matter where or who i'm sat

What you also have to remember is that the prices have been pegged for a couple of years at least (ok I accept that the early payment got the lowest price) but still 9% over 3 years is only 3% per annum.

People are getting worked up about the rises but the stadium could look very different by then anyway if the plans top extend take shape and start to move forward.

Change is change and things have to move if the stadium is to match the team that will play in it going forward (at least I hope the team will develop on).

The finnace deals are much better this year compared to previous just becasuse of the state of the eceonomy and the interest rates that are in place at the moment.

I agree its all about peoples personal circumstances but overall I do think that the teh club are trying to make changes and listen (fans forums) to the fans, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

But i'm with you the best match day experince is winning......and winning some silverware!

Fine, and I will be the first to admit it if I am wrong, the only comfort I will get from this, is that enough people take up these places to justify pissing so many people off, and I suppose it is up to the person who buys the season ticket for the corporate area to choose the games he turns up to , as I can, but as I said earlier, I just don't think these 1000s of people exist, even if we make it big.
The corporate whore has for years pimped a certain other team and turned their back on us, and whilst that team still remain in the top positions and are competing for the top honours, I cannot see there being much of a swing in their tax rebatable entertainment budgets.
But as I said, I am open to be proven wrong

The way some are talking we may as well make the whole ground corporate.

After all they pay more and that's the only thing that supporters are there for.

£5k a season ticket. If you can't afford it you should be happy to go to the pub secure in the knowledge that we've spent a few quid on
players whose names roll of the tongue in China.

Each ticket comes with a free copy of City's history (last 30 years airbrushed because supporting a shit team doesn't rake in the big bucks) and a free guide so our supporters can work out which colour shirt the home team is wearing. Also a free copy of the financial times for those dull periods in the match.

It's what we've all invested our money, blood, sweat, semen and tears on for the last 30 years for our club to become. You may have supported the club through 30 years of thin and thinner, and kept it alive through it's darkest days when other clubs in similar positions have sunk without a trace. It may well have been the loyalty shown by you and those similar yo you that have influenced banks to loan much needed funds, and possibly sheiks to invest much needed money.

But if you're not ecstatic about paying double for your seat to avoid being pushed aside for a suit, you can just fuck off to the fan friendly rags.

Haha great post!

i am in n stand with my son, daughter, neice and cousin all above 18 y/o bar one we are being forced out of the family stand even though we are a family!? the club told me 2 adults could stay with the youngest but the other 1 has to relocate. so its not really a family stand. what happens on cup games when rest of ground is full and an adult wants a ticket would he be refused till he finds a youngster outside the ground. we dont want to move and we are not, i told the girl in the ticket (hate box) office that city would be losing many loyal fans her reply "was oh alright then". so afer 45 years watching city this season is my last. i have wished gay crook good luck with the product the matchday experience the family stand that isnt a family stand the corporate seats etc etc...... can see many empty seats in north stand next season and the club having to give tickets away again.

Maybe tier2 wont be corporate all around?

Maybe Tier2 might have reasonable prices for ST's?

Maybe there may be comparable seating which is cheaper when they expand the ground?

Maybe there is a majority of existing season ticket holders who will welcome the changes in Tier2?

Maybe they want to introduce tiered pricing because doing it now will ease the pain later on?

Maybe they have to look at charging more for games if we are going to be able to compete at the top level ala Michel Platini rules?

Maybe if there is too much unrest they say fuck it we don't need all this shit! and bale?

We don't know for fact what prices or for that matter what experience they are going to offer in tier2.

Why not see how it goes for a season? the worst that could happen is you have to move after that season, maybe to Back of tier1 maybe to the front of tier3

Or maybe it might well be just up your street and you love it?

From the official site

"Between May 3 and May 7: North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply to move to any available seat, not currently occupied by an existing Seasoncard holder in any area of the Stadium. Please note that current availability in Levels One and Two of the stadium is limited. A wider choice of seats exists in Level Three of the Colin Bell Stand and East Stand"

So booted out of my seat, I now have the choice of Level Three or waiting until June and hoping someone will have moved out of the South stand. What a shambles. Some things never change.
