With great reluctance I've just binned my renewal. £650.00 to £800.00 to £1350.00 just does not stack up... Even with soft seats and three domestic cup games thrown in.... just not worth it... even for my beloved Manchester City!

You could have just moved seats

You've had ample time to do so?

Was about to say that. £299-£450 range seats were available for ages during the relocation window.

True.... but I've chosen not too. It costs me above the match day ticket about £150 on average and TBH I fundamentally disagree with what the club has done and where it is ho inn, so reluctantly I've done what I'm empowered to do and voted with my feet and cash....

I'd wager that these exec seats will not be populated save for the big games... which will be a great pity. I sincerely hope the club has not stepped beyond its limit in as much as how much the supporters are willing to pat, or can afford to pay. By the way it is pure willingness and choice on my part.

Cutting off your nose to spite your face??? If you really wanted to you could have got a much cheaper ticket resulting in an overall saving each match. Can only assume you didn't want to renew

I noticed today when I rang up that when they tell you the number options they was skipping to number 6 b4 going through the numbers And number 6 was exec seats. So they can't be doin that well

Can understand where you're coming from and how you get there but no.... you're wrong. No where near cutting off the nose.... Strong point of principle really, quite simply the club thinks it's bigger than it actually is. Like I say next season I will be surprised if the Exec seat and all the others are full for all games next season.... I suspect our "waiting list" will be non-existent next season. Just my view of the world as I see it.

Did he really say that???

And that "waiting list" is currently sitting at around 10,000, I doubt they're all expecting or even want a £299 seat.

I was told by the club that Premium ticket holders will get priority on all away and European games. Which is quite an incentive.
Also the new 'concourse' appeals to me. Smaller queues etc.

I had a phone call tonight asking if I wanted a premium seat, I am 8500 on waiting list, they must be making a lot of calls to try to sell these seats

That's interesting. What prices did they quote?

they didn't quote a price just asked me if I'd seen the seats which I said I had on line then just said what do you think, I said out of price range, then he just thanked me and hung up
