As you say, will the likelyhood of all these new "vacant " seats be taken up by someone else or are we likely to see a lot of empty spaces next season.A brave decision by City to hopefully fill these possibly seats or foolhardy.Guess we`ll find out over the next few months.
I think the two blocks in the south 2nd level are a sign of things to come elsewhere in level 2 too, so I've decided to move our 2 tickets this year, before I'm pushed in a year or two's time (I expect it will be when the North is finished)

City will have done their market research on these level 2 corporate areas, and I don't doubt they will be full, and despite the complaints, many people will actually be able to reduce their costs this season if they make the effort. I understand that people like their current seat, but ultimately its a seat to watch a football match from, so why does it matter so much, none of our seats will have a bad view.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

So here's a question - any Bluemooners on level 2 and impacted by these unprecedented price hikes actually *staying* in their poshed up seat?

Who will City be looking to to replace the many relocating/leaving that area? Have they reached out to businesses or people already in the stadium?

Re: 3D virtual ‘view from seat’ For next Season Tickets

That links seems to have been pulled so the club are raising prices?

they will be spreading out the DD over the season but even so, i'm fucking skint and won't be renewing if I can't afford it.
Bye City :(

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Money off season ticket for next year?! Wtf. Why not just give it as city vouchers - can be redeemed in club shop or on future tickets. Come up with an equally cringeworthy name ? Cash Cityzen. Together Tokens. Blue Barter. I can't take just how cheesy we have become.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

£15 increase for next season for me (111)
£600 isn't too bad but what strikes me is some posters are seemingly "thankful" to city for a smaller increase in their SC.
Yes we aren't paying £2000 for a SC like some other fans here but why should we be thankful?

It's like walking into Asda to buy your Bacon at £1 and they up the price to £1.20 but instead of leaving the bacon on the shelf you still buy it then thank the till operator for the increase in your shopping bill.

Sorry but if it continues to increase I'm off. I'll become a sofa fan and watch games on the tv.
This isn't out of preference but because I wouldn't be able to afford it sadly :(

The club do price out many local people on a regular basis. Yes there are £299 SC's available but they are limited and even more so now with big increases in corporate seats on Lvl2 encouraging current SC holders to relocate to the cheap seats.

I'll say it now and I said it years ago when Mansour came in.... This club will be majorally Tourist attendees, with most of the people in the stadium being non-SC holders, paying premium for one off match experiences, throwing in club/academy tours and a spending spree in the club store.... Then either head back into the Hotel next to the stadium (yet to be built) or jump on the met to MCR for the flight back to Asia with Etihad Airways.

Whilst the majority of Gtr Manchesters populous sit outside the stadium in their houses watching the match on tv.

Is this a bad thing? well it is for me as I'll be priced out, become more disloyal to City and the family tradition of attending city matches will no longer exist, along with my spare time in operating a supporters club.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Well it looks like even more fans are going to be priced out, join me and the ever increasing numbers of city fans who can't afford to go anymore. Was there even any point in that city voice thing on rewarding fans.

The club is at fault and is just plain being greedy, 50 quid every year for 5 years. I think they want a ground full of tourists. United is actually cheaper now most games

Btw was there even any point going on the waiting list. Everyone from level 2 will just move into level 3 won't they.

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

Its pretty clear that price increases are level 2, rest of stadium pretty much the same. I sympathise with those on level 2, but I don't think the club is being greedy.
The club is being forced to increase revenue streams to meet FFP and compete with the other clubs in the UEFA cartel. Had it not been for FFP I'm sure the club would have looked after supporters more so. If you want to blame anyone, blame UEFA and Twatini. They are the ones that should be made accountable.
FFP is making fans pay more and holding us back in transfer market. Lets hope the court case works in our favour.

I disagree
If the club are that bothered by ffp that they are raising ticket prices which results in pricing out fans then I suggest they look at other areas of the business to make cuts or increase revenue

For example don't waste 6mil on Cabellero - that should cover what they make from an increase on fans

And on the subject of ffp, if we have a team full of academy players in say the next 5 year I.e no need to spend on transfers, do you think ticket prices will go down to reflect this? Because I don't

It's just another squeeze, greed, that's all it is - no other reason

Re: Season Card Reservation,New ST etc 2015/16 Season.

I'm not having all this justification for FFP reasons either, the club are distancing itself away from the fans, the whole of the new stand should be priced at £299 bracket and properly encourage new or fans who have stopped going for financial reasons back to supporting City.

Really missing a trick here City, I just don't see us filling the stadium on a regular basis, once a fan is priced out they won't rush back to attend games.

The club seems more interested in MCFCWF and setting clubs up in fucking Melbourne than looking out for grassroots supporters.

£620 to sit in a what will be a fantastic stadium watching players like Aguero and Silva playing for my team when a few years ago it was Bury, Tinpot and Macclesfield. It's a 3% increase for me, and I am going to be sat in a fantastic stadium watching and supporting great players so yes I am grateful. Granted some fans have got some huge price increases to consider, but then they have been sign-posted for a long time, and there are thousands of alternatives.
