Going off the last few seasons realistically you can only afford to drop around 15 points and we’ve dropped a third of that in 3 games so unless they go on a long winning streak, which I can’t see with the current players available (having no striker for a significant period of time is a big failure by the management) and performances, I can’t see us winning or challenging for the league title

Top 6 mate. There are at least 5 better teams than us at the momentBe happy with top 4 going off what I've seen.

It’s just a continuation of last seasons form for me this so I can’t see what’s going to change this season. We may get better as the players get to know each other more but it will be a transition season again this for me. We have to make sure they don’t become the norm going forward.
I honestly think we will be lucky to get top 4. The team is down & depth in key areas is poor. Aguero & Jesus are likely to be injured again before season is out plus we can’t drop Kev so he’s going to be exhausted at some point.
throw in peps last season and the writing is on the wall for me. A disaster of a season incoming sadly.
it’s not just because Aguero is out we are a shadow of the last few years with a real lack of energy & strong players. I see us being bullied in most games at the minute

Unless they lose key players for a significant period of time, I can’t see anyone getting close to Liverpool.
Whilst it’s too early to completely dismiss our chances, we do seem too disjointed to mount a serious challenge.
Mendy comes under fire for a lot of criticism (mostly deserved) but the lack of athleticism/mobility in midfield is another clear problem of ours.

I think it's a wide-open season. Liverpool will falter and anyone could win it...including City. After just three games it is too early to be concerned. Leeds were superb tonight. It is just arrogant to expect City to turn up and take the points. Football is a fantastic game, mostly because it is unpredictable. I look at the positives. Dias and Laporte will be immense for us in future years. This is just the start of a new era.

I hope your right but I just don’t see it. The team seem so unbalanced. For me there’s no way Aguero or Jesus change the team that much. Maybe 2 years ago yes Aguero does but he’s much slower now & hes up against young strong defenders.
I just think we have gone stale & never pushed on with new players from 3 seasons ago
