season ticket holders

Yeah like i said i just thought that each club would get so many corporate tickets as well as the supporter allocation. Dont think theres a huge corporate contingent at city anyway, so reckon there should be enough for all season ticket holders.

Again, I hope you're right for my lad's sake but i don't think so.

Looking at the seat plan posted by bladdered - all the seats in grey are owned by Club Wembley. That has nothing to do with city or uniteds corporate people. These are people/firms who have paid for the privalege to attend any Wembley fixture.
After the club wembley tickets there are also the various sponsors, advertisers, local FA's etc. Then there is city and uniteds corporate. You say not many, but how many do you think will be taken by Thomas Cook, Etihaad, Ferrostaal, aabar, Malmaison, Heineken, Jaguar etc (all official Club sponsors - look in the programme) . All the smaller firms who have boxes at city will want tickets. Plus all those who have tickets where a meal is involved.
Then add to this the same for united's corporate.
I bet only about 20,000 will filter to 'normal' season ticket holders like us.

I know it sucks - most of these pricks were not at the game yesterday, never mind York away in Dec 98. But they all come out of the woodwork for big games, and it doesnt get much bigger.

Totally agree. I bumped in to Craig Russell today and he is really struggling for a ticket.

I've not been to a cup match since Scunthorpe a few years ago, and then only because I have a friend from college days who is a Scunthorpe fan.

Season ticket holders like me shell out for 19 matches and know full well that the season is usually going to end with winning nothing and until recently possible relegation. I've paid for season tickets to see City get relegated in 82/83, 86/87, 95/96, 97/98 and 2000/2001.

I don't see why I should be behind someone in the queue who has just paid to go to a few cup matches but hasn't committed to watching City for all their home games through thick and thin.

So how come the stoke website is saying they have 3200 and we don't know what we are getting?

I feel who ever has a season ticket and went to the cup games should get one no matter how many points they have.

I think that if they don't get them then i think a lot will chuck their st away by being f**ked about.

There are 4 of us, 2 with high points, 2 with average points, our dilemma is the same, do we wait and get 4 together or get 2 and 2.

Definatly 2 and 2 me thinks! Got to get a ticket! P.S i agree that we should name and shame the ones who havnt been in this years cup!

This argument make me laugh.. I've not been to an FA cup game yet but I'll get a Semi ticket! Why shouldn't I, I've followed City for 30years home and away, to Swindon to see us get beat, and loads of other dumps around the UK, including Stoke to see us relegated and Wembley in '99. I pay in advance every year for my two season tickets and go to every home game in the league plus many away. Why does that not entitle me to a Semi ticket? Have I not shown my support? Does it mean I'm not a real fan? Bollocks to you, I have more than enough points, I've earnt them so Ive earnt a Semi ticket too in my eyes.

OK, but if the ONLY reason you've not been to an FA Cup game is because you can't be arsed, don't blame those who have been there EVERY cup game for thinking they deserve a ticket before you. They're obviously more interested in the FA Cup than you are. And I agree with them.

i have a season ticket & 1420 loyalty points, think i will be able to get hold of a ticket?
I reckon you'll be on the cut off. Anything around there will be who is in the queue first. educated guess.

I'll struggle, only on 1500. But I'll just have to wait and see :(

I'm on 1910 and if I had bought a ticket to villa in the cup I'd be over the 2000 Mark and probably get a ticket :'(

i have waited 30 years to try and get a ticket for a proper match at wembley , if i have to wait another 30 years i will be 87, think it should go on age

if your worried about your points you get 50 for thursdays games.....but then me thinks thursday will not be sold out cos the coming out the woodwork fans will be saving themselves for Wembley!

I like the points system it rewards the true hardcore and longterm fans.

I know i will have collected enough points over 14 years of having a season ticket to get a ticket, even though i havent made it to every FA cup game this year, due to illness and work.

If you dont hav enough points to get ticket it simply mean there are fans before you who have supported longer or harder than you, so how can you begrudge them anyway!!

WTF?!? i just logged in to see my loyalty points (as i said before i think its 2100-2200) but it says i have no loyalty points. whats happened there?

-- Tue Mar 15, 2011 8:45 pm --

panic over... just had another look and it says i have 2100. phew
