Hope mine come's today,

Not particularly panicking as still 13 days to go till Swansea but when i see it on the mat i feel like a kid at christmas and show it to everyone i know with a dead chuffed look on my face,

I rang customer services today as my Charity Shield tickets havnt turned up yet after I bought them 2 weeks ago.

Anyway the auto message playing on the phone whilst I was waiting on hold was that all Platinum member cards are getting posted this week and everyone will receive theirs by Friday 5th August.

It also went on to say if you don't receive yours by the 8th August to contact customer services.

I rang customer services today as my Charity Shield tickets havnt turned up yet after I bought them 2 weeks ago.

Anyway the auto message playing on the phone whilst I was waiting on hold was that all Platinum member cards are getting posted this week and everyone will receive theirs by Friday 5th August.

It also went on to say if you don't receive yours by the 8th August to contact customer services.

Thanks the info - was just about to ring up! Hopefully it will come this week then. My CS ticket arrived today....phew :)

Why? There is 14 days til the Swansea match and if it doesn't come by then, the club will sort out a replacement.

It can get a bit tiresome though if your seasoncard hasn't been sent out for three seasons running. I am a veteran of this nonsense.
Last year, that Danny Wilson fella (top bloke, by the way) had to arrange to meet me outside before the Valencia friendly in the end to hand it to me in person.
It sounds like the ticket office lunacy will strike again. From past experience, I would guess that there something wrong with the platinum cards.
Something similar happened last year, there was a whole batch of cards that didn't work and had to be repeatedly reissued.
Looking at the issue number, it took them three or four goes before they could get my seasoncard for last year to work properly.

So no platinums arrived yet, but the people who got gold have. It best be something worth the wait!

I think you will find they are having trouble fitting the new home kit in that small platinum box ..... I'v heard that they are thinking of omitting the shorts & socks and only putting the shirt in ..... its an outrage.
