Season ticket news?

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

Just to be clear i know nothing about business, but it doesnt make sense, when we played the game against spurs last week to claim champs league football, the stadium wasnt full, when we play in the cup, we dont fill out stadium unless the tickets are discounted...it wasnt long ago we were selling them for 5 quid, so now they have decide that even though we have a tiny bit of trouble filling the ground lets put the prices up so that most of our support who do manage to go, cant afford it? Really does make sense, im guessing we shall be clear on the situation tomorrow and my guess is that there will be more to it, maybe a few more added bonuses for these fans taking up this membership.

This is slightly off topic but if someone could help me i'd be grateful.

I haven't been able to get to any games recently due to lack of funds, now however circumstances have changed. I was going to look into getting a seasoncard but would this even be posssible? With not having a membership for the past couple of seasons would i even be eligable? How would this new scheme affect my plans?

There's a waiting list mate, i heard around 4000 from someone on here a while back. If that's true, and season tickets sold out this season i think you will struggle for one for next season. Email the club at waitinglist@mcfc.co.uk to get your name down.

This membership scheme does not affect this. It is only being offered to fans with above 7000 from the sounds of it, which i would hazard a guess is around 500 supporters tops.

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

I'm don't have a pot to piss in but still think that supporting City is an absolute bargain. Next season more so than ever before as we'll start off as FA Cup holders, playing CL footie and with our present squad of stars bedded in together and playing even better.
Add new signings to that mix for extra spice and it's a recipe I'm more than happy to dine on.
I've already saved up for my 2011/12 season ticket on an assumption of 10% increase over the £600 paid last term and if cost exceeds budget I'll simply renew to a cheaper part of the ground.
Sorry to sound so positive for a bloke just laid off but supporting City keeps me cheerful - especially of late!

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

Will those of us who got the seven game ticket be hearing from the club today? We were promised we'd be first in line for seasoncards (obviously after renewals).

Re: Superbia - Membership 2011/12

Nothing yet...

Did notice this on the page though:

"All current seasoncard holders will receive a pack in the next week to join Membership 2011/12 by renewing your seat."

I haven't got a Scooby-Doo! now.
