seems they're scrapping the idea of loyalty for first preference on away tickets and replacing it with money

this better not be true. if its not broke dont fix it.

I get the impression this has only been sent to people with the most loyalty points anyway. I have 8440 and it mentions that 'we know you have been to at least 154 away games in the past 8 years'........

Don't know about the other levels, it just makes it sound like this is the top level (for our most loyal supporters, it says) so maybe there will be other levels.

It has arrived on posh card all laminated with a letter from Garry Cook.

It says :
'You have been chosen, you are superbia, there is no higher etc.....for our ultimate supporters, our ultimate membership.......the priviledges of membership don't come any higher than this'

Can't see that many going for this at £2500 as it will obviously depend how far we get in competitions what value you get for this, I'm going to ring tomorrow to ask lots of questions!!

ah right im with you. but then in theory you could get a ticket for any game you wanted anyway. so are we really scrapping loyalty points?!

I've got 8440 so I guess they have sent it to the top few hundred but can't see many going for it at that price. Only have level 3 east stand seat, not in the level 2 new to be exec seats.
Really not sure how they've priced it at all.

If it's for people with the top loyalty points I'm all for it.
I fear a system where the more you pay the early you can get tickets.

Just got back from Wembley, anyone else had their membership (season card) renewal pack?

Seems there will be membership levels and I've had an invite to renew my card with a guaranteed ticket for every game, home, away, europe, semi's and finals with some other benefits and a chance to fly on the team plane.

It's invitation only etc all for just £2500!!!

That sounds like a bargain to me TBH.

I for one will likely do that if given the chance....

sounds similar to how Arsenal do it.

yes it sucks but this is the only way success is sustainable, with FFFP coming into force. there will always be a large section of the stadium available at decent prices, as well as your standard membership, but it's becoming the norm to gouge the priciest sections. Plenty of our more affluent supporters will bite at 2.5k. I certainly would if I earned a bit more.

lets say they get 1,000 in, that's 2.5m quid. equivalent to 5,000 extra seats in the ground.

Yep, it seems there will then be an elite band, if you add another 2000 points on top for this membership, for the 'rich AND loyal fan'. Still not sure how many will go for it, don't get the impression that most of the regular away goers have £2.5K kicking its heels waiting to be spent on this.

all away games 19*38 average = 772
=1372.
I don't spend 1200 on cup games. you wouldn't even if we got to every final would you?
