Season ticket payments - refunds/credits due by June 19th

Not got a s/c but those of you that have should be grateful you aren’t Newcastle fans. Speaking to one today not only is there no mention of money back those that didn’t cancel their direct debit quick enough in March have been charged for next seasons already.

Had premium seats ring me about an hour ago.....told me it was about my refund....asked if both cards was paid from the same bank account(which you'd think they should know they are),got cut off.....no call back.

In the past hour I've had 6 emails from City, each for a refund of £34.47. One email per home game remaining. So it seems they are processing the payments through their system, although I've only had 1 X £34.47 go back on my credit card (yesterday).

I didn't pay extra for Platinum so can't help with that debate though, sorry!

Similar, I've had 7 emails (one game is split in half for some reason), but 6 refunds of £40-something, yet my bank is only showing 3 x deposits.

Not major worry yet, I imagine they have a lot of shit to process.

I'm probably defensive of them because I work with IT systems and know that these things can be more complicated than they first sound. One wrong piece of coding can cost a lot of money so they might be deciding to do it manually even, one by one, to stop errors.
Exactly. I know that there's something like a 3-year programme of development work on the SeatGeek system for features that City want. Refunding, en masse, 40k seasoncard holders and others who've bought tickets for various games, was probably not even on that list.

The whole £50 should be refunded as they changed the rules after people bough the, for away games, and didn't even allocate points for finals.

No one got what they paid for.

The 'Ticket Exchange always pays 1/19th and you keep your points for the game you sell.
Different for away tickets as you only get the points when you buy whereas you get them upfront for the home games. Personally I hate Platinum so if they're refunding it then they should deduct the double points you've not had for those 6 home games. With my CM rep for seasoncard holders hat on though then I applaud the move.

If they we're to refund the £50 in full then with both my personal and CM hats on I'd expect removal of any double points awarded this season. I'd expect consistency and not for Gold card holders to be disadvantaged yet again.

Totally confused with what the club are doing.

I have had an email stating refunds for Madrid game will go onto my card then today a phone call saying please call to get refund. When you call all you get is the standard message with the options not working!

anybody had similar ?

Is the card still valid? If you've had a new one with a new expiry date and not updated your card via your mancity.com account, that could be a reason. Perhaps they tried, it failed and they need you to call.

It wouldn't make an difference what they did to platinum members points this season as long as they are treated the same, as it isn't about any advantage against gold, it is just about keeping level with other platinum members.

It was only introduced on the back of the FA Cup final win, along with superbia, as the club sought to make more money from away tickets, and I agree it should be scrapped. There was no choice in it if you wanted to go to away games, as I would be 10k points down of the stats quo if I didn't. The other massive bug bare is that they introduced it when they they put kids prices up in the SS by about £45 to make them go to the NS, and it was still £50 for kids on platinum at full price, so the for kids went from £95 almost double is the SS.
