Season Tickets 2018-19 - 3% average increase reported

Double loyalty points is it really. But with City giving 20% of away tickets to tourists I rarely get chance to buy away tickets these days.
You need to be in cup schemes to get Wembley FA cup final tickets but I'll borrow my friends Club Wembley seat unless we're playing Chelsea.
So no real advantage then lol... I ditched league cup last year and I’ll probably do the same with CL this year. More chance of winning the FA Cup unless we play Wigan again so I’ll keep that on. Losing Platinum saves £50 quid

Ditched all cup games two seasons ago to afford it. A good few years ago I set myself the bar of £700. Last year it went over to £715, and I bit the bullet. Now it's £735 ... not a huge rise in the scheme of things, but taking into account the season's success and generated revenue from it, to still put them up to me is taking the piss.

So season ticket holder since 1983 here saying 'I'm out'.

They owe me a reduction from ticket exchange but seem to have made it impossible for me to claim it.

Swales' brain has downloaded into the fucking ticket system at this club before he croaked, I'm convinced.

It's fucking SHITE

Surely it can't do the reduction until 3 hours before the Brighton game? They should make it clear, as people are still selling theirs.

just tried downgrading to gold but when I get to the choose method of payment card or direct debit it wont go to the next page shite website

I suggest you ring the Ticket Office and tell them the website won't allow you to downgrade. They should do it for you without charging the £2.50 fee.
God knows what the new online ticket site us going to be like. City haven't got a decent track record in ticket selling.

And how much did the pack they sent out with last year's tickets cost? Bet that cost more than the increase they got from those rises. Simple solution - send out the ticket in a plain envelope without all the shite and keep the price the same.

Good idea, if it was an opt in/out thing it would be even better.

I personally like the tins, for this extra tenner I'm expecting a suitcase sized one now.

They seem to have applied my reduction from selling a ticket on the exchange fortunately. if nothing else, it covers the increase in price!

I don’t think it has been every year. There was a freeze two years ago and there is things you can do to reduce your cost e.g. sell one game on ticket exchange this year and you’ll get more money back than the 3% rise.

Also 3% increase is basic cost of living raise so you should get something around that a year at work.

Ah right, so sell one game this season, 3 next...and in a bit I'll have just given it all up just to pay for itself!!!

Well you would think that it wouldn't exactly be as difficult as planning the space shuttle trajectory, for them to give you the option of claiming the money you want to claim & sticking it in the basket, but you are probably right.
