Season Tickets - 2024/25

Not taking the piss but why doesn't everyone take advantage of the interest free 10 instalment option?

It's a no brainer for me

Even if it meant putting the full price in an interest earning account if you are that way inclined, and paying it from there?

I got me email, increase not unexpected, £35 extra per year and shrugged.

Won't start paying it til Summer with the first instalment.
I’m fortunate to have the full amount to pay it in once. Not the greatest lover of direct debits my dad always instilled in me if you can pay it in one pay it so you don’t have to ever worry about it should something change.

Mines up £75, could cut the platinum but I would deffo fall behind on the aways then.

Personal preference but I’m guessing some will be old school in that way like me.

Two totally different businesses models
Ones gate takings is a huge percentage of the club’s turnover
The other club, it is a fraction
I am appreciative of the models at play and you are correct. Because of that I do question the necessity for further rises as indeed I have for many years

season tickets holders should stop spending anything in the ground. Just in beer money they would notice this.

Also, to anyone saying its value for watching the best team in the world, do you reckon they will put prices down when Pep leaves or we arent winning cups every year? Will they fuck
Yeah thanks but think I can decide if I want to buy a Pie and a Pint.

Use my S/ T to get a discount too.

I get everyone’s financial circumstances are different but would be nice to see a bit of empathy for fellow blues who are getting closer to their maximum without telling them they’re lucky to be watching good football.
Some of those fans would have been going for decades and spent a fair whack doing so. I’m sure they will be gutted to have to call it a day without the I’m alright Jacks telling them it’s the price you pay for being decent.
Even if true a bit of understanding wouldn’t go amiss.
The first option for anyone should be to relocate to a cheaper seat if available.

People just saying I'm giving it up is fucking mad.

For those in the cheapest seats already, try RAWK for tips on getting in for nowt ;-)

As you say. I think a lot of season ticket holders are now giving unattractive midweek games a swerve and putting their seats on the Ticket Exchange to claw some money back. The club won’t mind about that as they can probably sell the tickets for double the money to a tourist, a day tripper, or to a desperate Legacy fan who usually can’t get a PL match ticket. The club have got all the bases covered.
Yeah they at the moment can't lose.

Look at the position 3/5/10 years on who knows we're we'll be but, the money men will have ticked boxes and obtained kudos, moved on and still being coining it in having more than likely left a shit show/mess behind which isn't their problem.

When I first went upto SSL3 it was £300, think that’s 8 seasons ago now, it is now £425, so next season will be 50% more, now I know my income hasn’t risen by that amount! But that’s ok when the next superstar signs for £500k a week! I appreciate what I’m seeing but the whole football world is going fucking mad.
£425 is fucking peanuts mate, honestly.

I bet no other top half Club does Adult S/T's for that in a comparable good seat.

Just to put a bit of perspective on it in my mind: this morning I went for my annual eye test and as my vision has changed I’m having to have new glasses.
My season card price for my beloved club? £495
My new glasses? £504
IF YOU HADN'T REPLACED YOUR GLASSES YOU'D BE NON THE WISER :-)

LARGE PRINT REPLY;-)

You might be on to something there, say they dole out a thousand of these kids gold+ or whatever they’re called, and some of the more attractive fixtures are midweek or late Sunday, I can see a high return on those or at least a mark up on passing them onto adults (hence the extra checks on tickets lately) the club ticks boxes and still makes bank
