Season Tickets - 2024/25

Have 3 season tickets managed to transfer 1 to wallet but it says the other two are linked to a different account and must be deleted from that before they can be added.
Have switched accounts and hasn't made a difference.
Was onto the clubs ticket IT speclist the other day and spent half an hour trying to sort it with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just been to my local IT guy who's an absolute whizz with these things and he's told me that the tickets have been registered to an old Google account on an old phone that's currently sat on the bottom of a deep river I've no idea of my old login details.
Requested they send me new links to new Google account & they say it's not something they can do as they've already been sent.
They then suggest I come to the ticket office and collect paper tickets before each game FFS I travel 60 miles to each game.
I'm at the point of cancelling my direct debits and walking away after 30 years.

Yeah I'm one of them. My wallet just totally disappeared off my phone(it's too old City's IT department Iinformed me) so on match days I have to collect one. I was refused a request of a card when I filled their online form in.
At least I am local so not as painful a pickup unlike yourself. Good luck hope you manage to sort something

It happened to me in the 2022-2023 season,i bought a new phone, android, and for the last 5 or so home games of the season,mine and my sons cards didn't work for all games,prem,champs league. I was logged into google on my old mobile and being logged into the same email wouldn't work on my new phone .
 
After waiting for another hour managed to get through to a very helpful IT guy that forced the ticket through, all sorted now thankfully!

I've just contacted the club again asked them to cancel both season tickets that won't download and resell and resend them to me on a new link so I can download them to current Google wallet.
They have agreed to try this and think it may work .
The first lad I spoke to refused to do anything and just kept repeating himself again & again.
I'll let you know if it's successful
 
I have no QR code for the Ipswich game............is this a new issue?

16 minutes on hold so far.......gave up after 20 mins

Maybe you could change your email in your City account ? and then try to download them into your google wallet ?
 
Stewards often ask to show it on my phone if the NFC thingy fails.

It took me six emails and 3 phone calls with the ticket office for them to sort it out for me. I explained the problems it would cause at the turnstiles. I’m not sure they took much notice. I think they should be able to look up whether the ticket has been used or not by looking up the ticket number if your NFC isn’t working.

The old system worked ok as far as I knew? Unless it was being abused?
 
Just been told by City that it's a widespread Google issue with android phones and they can't do anything about it.
Then told me for the time being ill have to come to the ticket office and collect paper tickets for every game!!!!
What an absolute fucking joke
My print at home has been deactivated after being able to do it 2324 after various download issues. Now the club is saying PAH cannot be reactivated for 2425 season. Absolute nightmare. Have requested plastic season cards.
 
I'm having the same issue, I can download my brother's season ticket to my Google wallet as he is away for Ipswich, but I'm unable to add my season ticket to the same Google wallet.

I've asked the club why they can't reset the ticket and then I can redownload it, a poster above says that this was done for them but I've yet to speak to someone in the club who would attempt to do the same for me.

I can get there early for Ipswich but I can't be going to the ticket office before every game.

But do we if there’s actual turnstiles back in operation in B and Y, either side of the building site, or if it’s still going to stewards with hand held readers?

My guess would be they want to track the person actually using the ticket and what spend they then also have on catering. Easier to do this if it’s all linked by NFC. They’ll use the data to try to increase match day revenue.

How do they know what you’re spending?

Or you talking about a future world where your season ticket can also somehow be used at the bar?

I’m not sure that will be the reason. Using NFC for entry to the ground and then NFC for buying food and drink probably shouldn’t allow them to link the two things under data protection rules. That said, I am sure I read somewhere that this season they were going to ask for NFC checks of supporters’ season cards for the 10% discount (rather than just the server looking at the phone screen), so that may allow them to do so. Not sure it gives them much other than who is using their discount and who isn’t.
