Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

I did 17 home matches this season on Flexi and still havnt been allowed to upgrade, everytime I phone the ticket office the goalposts have moved.
17 premier league games? You should have been able to change to gold. My son did 18 games and it was just a tick box option on his account to upgrade.

Absolutely gutted. I missed the criteria by 1 last year and then this year I attended 15 home matches, all bought direct from the club. Spent a fortune and missed out by 1 game again.

Bullshit that, 30 out of 38 over 2 seasons should be enough for their bullshit

I'm in the same boat last season I went to 19 home games costing me just shy of £700 for tickets alone but missed out because only 11 of those games were PL fixtures. This season I've spent £637 to go to 15 games and missed out by one again. It makes it so hard to keep the belief that you will be able to move off the matchday membership and onto a FG season ticket when every year they expect something different from you.

I see the 1894 group have decided that flexis are a con, and that we should all be allowed to buy STs and sell to our mates.

If I was one of the many folk who could only attend a smaller number of matches for family or timing or other genuine reasons as many have indicated on here, I'd be willing to go down the flexi route. I'm struggling to understand why there's such a definitive response from them on this, but happy to learn...
As much as I agree with 1894 on a lot of things, I think they've wrongly set their stall out that flexi-gold is a bad thing and it's not a real season ticket.

The problem is that when we started looking at this at City Matters, only about 20% of ST holders who weren't using their seats were making those available, either via Ticket Exchange or transfers to F&F.

That denies those seats to people who want to buy them. I'm definitely on 1894's side that these should be made available directly to fans, rather than via third-party sellers, and that the matchday prices need to be more realistic and affordable.

But 1894 should accept that flexi-gold IS a season ticket and it is now a route to the 'proper' season tickets they're calling for. Improvements have been made, by dropping the additional fee, and there's a discernible reward for maximum attendance.

It's a big battle won, and very much to the benefit of fans who want flexibility and those seeking a normal season ticket. There are bigger battles to be fought.

I'd rather 1894 weren't so vocal on this point TBH. A Flexi-gold season ticket for my son next season will be a godsend for me. And it's a pathway to a full season ticket as he will attend all of the games.

Bigger wars to fight in than this one.
Will you be able to get him one sat next to you though or will you both have to relocate

Don’t think you’ve missed out, there’s further criteria to be announced

Talking of battles.

The lads who were arrested at the Dipper home game have been up in Court this week. All released "under investigation". Still "investigating" some 3 months after the event. My FBO case is being heard 18 June in Uxbridge. As far as I'm aware, we're all subject to automatic Club bans of 1 year. In my case this takes me to Jan 2026. As I've renewed, the earliest I'll be able to attend is late Jan 2026, which will make it extremely unlikely I'll have attended 10 games "in person" in the season, which will result in my SC being revoked due to the new attendance criteria. I only know of one of the Dipper game lads who hasn't renewed, so they're in same boat.

Stony silence from the MCFC Security team, who initiate all Club bans.

Go figure.

Agree, they should be looking to the next battle (probably the North Stand) or getting back to working on the atmosphere, they’re flogging a dead horse with this, I believe we have got to a good place with flexi’s, way way better than I ever expected, and 1894 should probably hold off on this one

They've updated their wording now on 16 matches, all games included towards getting a flexi.

  • Cityzens Matchday Members who have purchased 16 or more matches across any competition throughout the 2024/25 season.
  • Cityzens Junior Members who have purchased 10 or more matches across any competition throughout the 2024/25 season.

Be interested to know how the junior pull through will work for allocation of seating. Anyone any ideas or seen it in previous years?

15 PL games over 2 seasons but now all of a sudden it is totally different, super discouraged now I will ever get a seasonticket. After missing just for a couple of games last year and doing 10 PL this year and 17 past 2 seasons whilst living 3hrs away...

Wouldn’t worry too much yet. I can’t imagine there’s that many that have hit that initial set criteria. As per the comms it’s suggests they’ll be multiple criteria windows. I think you’ll still have a good chance with 10.
