Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Didn't speak to anyone, I do the card management for all three of us.

I just signed in to my dad's account using his/and my phone and downloaded into wallet.

Perhaps three because one is under 18?

Can’t be a junior issue. I have an adult and a junior on my phone. But can’t add a second junior for whatever reason. Try again next season maybe.

Not the end of the world. Thanks for the response.

I’ve 3 and my daughters match day membership on mine
Like I said, I've never had an issue and wondered why people were having meltdowns about buying burners phones, etc?

I have three season tickets and a copy of my father in law's match day membership on my phone.

They all have their own on their phones too.

I don't think any legality comes into it.
If they wanted to take everyone's season ticket away and sell only matchday tickets only, there is nothing we could do.

Hmm. Don't know about that. They'd be better off saying that no season tickets are available before the season started otherwise they'd surely be obliged to fulfil that commitment for that season at least after everybody had already renewed. As in the wording from the previous terms and conditions a contract is formed.

'By applying to purchase and/or renew one or several Season Tickets, a Purchaser is making an offer to
the Club. A contract for the supply of the Season Ticket and any associated benefits shall be created once
the Club has issued a Season Ticket to the Purchaser (or in the case of a renewal, the Club confirms that
the Season Ticket has been renewed). A Purchaser purchasing a Season Ticket for anyone other than
themselves, shall be deemed to be acting with the authority of such individual, including the authority
to agree to these Season Ticket T&Cs.'

Will the actual SC rep make herself available?

From what you hear I think we all work with someone like the SC rep. Leaves the hard yards/work to someone else, keeps her head below the parapet, but a favourite of the management as she never rocks the boat.

If people share a SC this is the best way to do it so that both of you have the ticket in your wallet. This is a loophole which is almost impossible to close because an adult will always have their kid’s ticket on their phone as many kids especially those of primary school age won’t have a phone.
Correct, but I don't think it's a loophole, mate?

I've done this since we went digital, just because my dad is hopeless with his phone and we needed a back up if left it at home or wouldn't register at the gate.

You have to be very careful if you don't come to the game together (my dad arrives later) I always make sure when I scan two of the three passes it is mine and my son's, or it would lock my dad out when he attempts to enter the stadium.

Don’t agree with much of what this fella says, but I liked this:

Another external voice offering some balance was football finance Kieran Maguire, noting that a ten game minimum for season ticket holders would be more palatable when the fixture schedule is predictable.

City's final three home games of the season are set for Tuesday evening, Friday evening and Sunday evening, and only 11 of their league games this season at the Etihad have been on a Saturday - only seven at 3pm.

Maguire said: "If clubs would agree to playing a minimum of ten games at 3pm on a Saturday I might have more sympathy for them. You buy a season ticket in good faith but are expected to effectively set aside [time] for a weekend match Friday evening, Saturday 12:30, 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm, Sunday 2pm, 4pm and Monday evening.

"Can you imagine a restaurant treating you in a similar manner when you book a meal?"

-/-/-/-/-

…especially when you have to book for a minimum of 19 meals, on the weekends they decide, before you see the menu, and you’ve no idea if the “good chef” will be making the food!!!

Yeah I’m the same people will be able to be scanned in but can’t see steward letting you scan 3 tickets and only one person going in

I now have a mental image of my lad looking down from the spirals, laughing at me struggling to get in using a pass that had already been used...

Haha. At least you would be able to call him and him come down to the turnstile to pass you his phone to scan in.

That's something I've been expecting from my dad for a couple of seasons now!!

People who work for City, even doing a promotion video, get paid.

Or maybe they don't?

I'll leave it at that.

Digital tickets are all well and good…until something happens electronically that effs it all up.

Could you imagine someone doing a little digital “damage” about 2 hrs before a big game? Wouldn’t even need to be a kid with a loose nut! It could be anyone and everyone with an agenda, from small organization to state actor.

Just sayin’

I have met a few supporters that still get a card to get in to games. I, myself, used to print my tickets till this season.

The digitisation will only reinforce what supporters will, or don't, purchase anything at the game.

Who do they want at games? Solid supporters or single game attendees who will purchases from the store?

Bollocks, look at how they’ve fucked about with the times for the Bournemouth game, from a Saturday at 3pm to Sunday at 7pm, so any travel etc is totally fucked up with people having work the next day, yes we maybe in the FA cup final but the point stands, train prices are extortionate at last minute to change, making it harder to drive to games and park. The club would like zero season tickets just for tourists, going g to be embarrassing when the new stand opens and it’s fucking empty midweek in the CL because a lot of locals don’t go to it, good luck finding 6k of tourists to fill it.
Agree 100% with the sentiment of what you're saying but the Bournemouth game was never going to be played at 3pm (or any other time) on Saturday.
FA Cup final is that day and no PL games were ever going to be scheduled for that date - the date/time on the calendar was just a placeholder.

All City Matters Reps should be made to do a test. I suggest if they can't sing "The Boys in Blue" they are in the wrong role. We had a good rendition in Lime Street Wetherspoons after yesterday's game.

It bet it wasn't as good as "Our Argentinian Blues Are Coming After You...... on the concourse at half-time at Everton. It went of for most of half-time and into the 2nd half. :-)

I loved those chants mate. Had to have an extended half-time because I had bought extra drinks for friends who didn't show. IIRC, Argentinian Blues really got going for the first at Goodison Park (several years back).

A future protest should be a blockade of the shop on match day.

Loophole maybe the wrong word but if the club are going to enforce this 10 game nonsense then I can see plenty of people putting others tickets on their phones and scanning them in if they aren’t there. A bit like clocking your mate in at the factory when they were running late back in the day.

It's quite easy for anyone to download anyone else season ticket to their phone, all you need is a log in provided free by the club when obtaining a membership number, then create a "strong link" and you can download each others tickets no problem , I have mine , my daughters and my dads ticket on my phone and they each have the same. Just make sure anyone you want to transfer your ticket to is "strong linked" and when they download and use it , it will seem you have attended the game.
