That’s great you got sorted in the end, disgraceful snooping by the club there, surprised they were ready to admit that’s the course of action they’d taken….hope you don’t mind but I reposted in the turnstile thread as I think it is very relevantManaged to get it sorted after multiple weekend calls and emails and stressing out. They only sent my email with the link at 9:35 this morning. Turns out I was banned for moving round to the singing section for a game I couldn't get tickets for in South Lower, and the club spotting someone who wasn't me in the seat I bought. Really disappointing how this is the first time that's brought up by the club, I dunno, it seems a bit deliberate and sly. All I eventually had to do was submit photo ID and proof of address and it was sorted. I'm a very happy man today!
ThanksBecause of the upgrade, current mobile Season Tickets will no longer be active. Here’s what to expect:
- From next week, your Season Ticket will move to the expired section of your phone wallet – or you can delete it manually.
- Ahead of next season, we will send you a new Season Ticket to download, along with simple instructions and more information about the new turnstiles. Downloading your new pass will be straight forward with only a few steps
How did they know it wasn’t you? And why do they care?Managed to get it sorted after multiple weekend calls and emails and stressing out. They only sent my email with the link at 9:35 this morning. Surprised they let you do that… I was told that an under 14 had to sit directly in arms length of a supervising adult for safeguarding reasons. When I got mine together I was told that it had to be next to me or directly in front or behind.Just got one for my 10 year old son who was eligible.. I wasn’t though..
The plan is to buy tickets close to him for as many games as possible when they get released in the summer so he gets to use it.
Probably a stupid idea but got too excited/panicked.
I know at that age they’re supposed to sit directly next to an Adult but we were split up most games last season and he was absolutely fine as long as we can see each other.
I’ve probably been a bit stupid here..
I’ve just logged back in and it looks like there are at least 100 odd not sold on the third tier of east/west stand from today’s releases. Maybe they will offer an additional window for these? Good luck anyway I hope you get sorted. Will there be any additional windows for season tickets or should I give up and go again next season. I’ve attended 6 games and am 4 off the criteria window.
Hopefully there will be another release for those as close as you were. If not now then when the new stand opens.Disappointment in our house tonight…. Having attended 17 games this season and thinking we could get on the Flexigold scheme, it turns out that Wembley doesn’t count so we are on 15

I was too! Wasn’t planning on doing it, was initially just seeing how far it would let me go. I’m expecting an email at some point cancelling it.. least he can tell his mates he was a season ticket holder even if only for a couple of days lol.Surprised they let you do that… I was told that an under 14 had to sit directly in arms length of a supervising adult for safeguarding reasons. So the fact they’ve let a 10 year old have a season ticket on his own goes against that logic.
Bet he’s happy though! Like you said, just have to keep getting seats as close as possible!
Thanks :-)You’ll be alright and he’ll be over the moon surely. Try to get tickets as close as possible and just explain to people around you/his seat and I’m sure you’ll find a blue who is willing to swap seats for a game.
I suspect the person sat in your seat ended up being ejected from the stadium or at least caused some kind of problem to draw attention to themselves, and thus for City to investigate and ban you. I highly doubt it was a random check or whatever, almost certainly would have been some kind of incident.Managed to get it sorted after multiple weekend calls and emails and stressing out. I tried last year and it had to be directly next to me so I didn't bother. This year the operator said it had to be directly next to me again. It seems like it’s entirely dependent on the lottery of which operator you speak to.
I was going to buy one last year, two seats and one row in front of me. Literally within touching distance. But they were absolutely adamant that it had to be the very next seat. So I sacked it, as I didn’t want to move.
But then people on here saying they were told, as long as it’s not far away, it’s fine.
Probably best just hanging up and trying again if you don’t like what they’re saying.
Yeah why are they not dropping the criteria when they have not sold out so annoying manAny updates on new criteria? My friend is waiting on 12 games as he hopes to get a flexi gold with his 17 year old in SS3.
Was there ever any mention of new criteria? Just asking as my sister is on 15. But she just assumed she’d missed out.Any updates on new criteria? My friend is waiting on 12 games as he hopes to get a flexi gold with his 17 year old in SS3.
Not that I’ve seen but the planner still has blocks so the quite a few season tickets in, unless it hasn’t updated. Was there ever any mention of new criteria? Just asking as my sister is on 15. But she just assumed she’d missed out.
How many are left? Not that I’ve seen but the planner still has blocks so the quite a few season tickets in, unless it hasn’t updated.
From the seat planner I can see, around 300?How many are left?
