Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Thanks - that worked. It’s not exactly intuitive is it. They need someone to work on their UX. Or is it deliberately well hidden?
I've spent 40 years working in IT and I only worked it out by accident on my third attempt. The concept of User Centred Design has bypassed City.

So i have an 1 year old nephew whom lives in London. His mum has asked if i could take him to the spurs game and so my daughter said he could have her season ticket. The likelyhood that he will get another game this season is unlikely, maybe one more at the most. So if i nominate him for one of the three people whats the point as he wont be able to make another game.

But surely you can still transfer your daughters ticket to yourself and then take whoever you like?

If he’s 1 he doesn’t need a ticket. He’ll be on your knees.

Also u could just download her ticket onto ur phone...just log into her account and download it...but as said by others under 4 dont need ticket

Put a family member on your list, transfer the ticket to them and forward the email to whoever the ticket is intended for.

They better pass that rational onto their ticket partners as thats where 99% of the away fans in City areas are coming from.
That's one of the main reasons that I don't see this development as a cure.

That doesn't change the fact that a small minority of Blues would sell their tickets to anyone to get their money back. It's just that the "ticket partners" are worse.

I have noticed outrage on here but when I told the forum there would be knock on affects to City going after the face value pages, that was largely dismissed. I am not keen on these changes btw.

If its any consolation its not just City who are doing this. My misses and her family are all seasoncard holders at Everton and have just had the same discussion as us. They cant transfer their tickets to a person who wants to go unless they pay £40 for a membership.

I suspect nephew is going to turn out to be 11 - but it is fun to speculate for a while on the intricacies of having to create a digital ticket for a baby and how you can carry a baby whilst trying to scan a phone, whilst a bunch of old folks grumble that we didn't have to do that in our day - just pass them over the turnstile and then leave on the front wall with other kids.

So if i put my daughters season ticket and for instance my wifes, i can swioe 2 people in with me. I only want to take in my nephew for the spurs game instead of my daughter but there are times when my wife and daughter cannot make it.

I he’s one he’s doesn’t need a ticket. You don’t need tickets for under 5’s they can just sit on your knee

Just got back from holiday and only just noticed this s**tshow. Talk about how to baffle supporters FFS. Just when you think they have started to listen as well!
I was just getting the buzz for the start of the season but City (as like last season) have messed up royally on how they are treating loyal supporters, and now they have now left a huge sour taste against normal fans once again. All we all want is to follow our football team and let anyone of our fanbase have easy access to tickets and enjoy the ride, its getting harder and harder and fans left right and centre are just giving up now.
On the rare occasion I don't go I also transfer my ticket to my mate who's a seasoncard holder and he gets a mate from work to go with him. Stinks to high heaven you can't do that anymore unless you know who would be going but it could be anyone of his workmates.
Out of all the amazing things the club have brought us, how can you get it so wrong regarding the Ticketing policy FFS. Then we will obviously get annoying digs from the manager and players regarding atmosphere..
100% correct really pissing off the fan base is a sure record for success - NOT.

I buggered around with the bloody thing this morning for a couple of hours trying to add my wife as a non-member on my account. Gave it up as a bad job.
