Season Tickets - 2026/27 | Ticket prices frozen (p9)

According to this chap, the match-to-match pricing for flexi SC holders varies and is not 1/19th of the ST cost for the seat.

It is 1/19th
I’ve had a flexi for 2 years now and the first season it wasn’t like that.
This season I have paid the same for all matches so far.

Fantastic news about being able to transfer to fellow ST holders. This was my biggest gripe and considerations of quitting.

Now, does anyone know if the 10 game rule is based on attendance? Would I get a credit if I attended on a different ST and put mine on exchange?
Why not sell the different season ticket on the exchange and go in on your own?

I'm not sure what it is you don't get. I currently have a season card that is ideal. I attend when I can and sell it on the exchange when I can't. How in good gods name does a flexi beat that? I already told you that this year I would have lost out on at least 4 games by committing three weeks in advance. I live in Scotland too and will in all probabiilty make the 10 this season and hopefully next. Over ten seasons now and it has failed to sell on the exchange just once.
I think the main thing is cashflow - you dont have to pay for the whole thing upfront or commit to an instalment plan. However, if the exchange works for you then thats fine - I had a couple of occasions where my ticket remained unsold and I guess thats clouded my view on it from a financial point of view.

Every time I read this thread I just shake my head. What really could be simpler than offering fans a seasoncard and letting them have access to all the games? Talk about making a pig's ear from a silk purse! And who will be the 5th game you miss out on if Spurs are relegated? Has that even been discussed yet? So in effect, you are being offered 14 games, and only know for certain 6 of those (Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham, Everton and Coventry) opponents. Anyone from Sunderland down can still be relegated yet, and Coventry are already up. You ain't getting United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea, and presumably Villa if Spurs drop!

I am now really grateful that the club showed its true intent to me last season, by informing me that failure to make the 10 game minimum would be punished by only the offer of the Flexi going forward, so I called time there and then, with my current care circumstances now no longer allowing solid commitment. Ultimately however, the club wanted me, and people like me out, as I never spent so much as a penny on that campus, and all they ever got was the price of the seasoncard.

In short, the last 10 years with Pep, and how we chose to harness a new surge in younger fans, into what should have been a properly and sympathetically developed stadium, would have been the bedrock for this club for generations to come, but somehow the money people have fecked up. No proper seasoncard have been issued, legacy fans have been targeted with restrictive attendance regimes, and the ground development has been all about developing corporate attendance and hotel room sales. I ask you this, just WTF do Manchester City Football Club need a monstrous hotel building onto our football ground? And if you even attempt to answer and justify that skyscraper monstrosity, then your are clearly the new type of fan this club is now looking to clone.

I’ve paid exactly the same for all matches attended this season. I understand that some people prefer a traditional season ticket but some of the things people have commented about the flexi are nonsense. It’s works really well for me and guarantees me a ticket for any match I can attend at a reasonable price. I don’t see the negative.

I think in a lot of ways for the modern game where matches move days and kick off times only 3 or 4 weeks before a game, plus you only pay 3 weeks before each game for many it's a superior product to an old style SC.

I'm with you - but then I see some folk commenting and on X that they've spoken to the club and that might not be the case for this year. I can see the logic from their side, make the 'big' games more expensive for Flexi folk, disincentivise them to buy and so therefore sell for inflated £ to matchday members.

What are you on about with this 5 games nonsense both a flexi and season ticket include every home league game

I would get her a membership and then when you get to pick season ticket seats pick seats 2-5 on the end of a isle leaving the first one empty . It's unlikely many people will buy that one seat on a individual basis so should be free for your wife for most games to buy on her membership and then hopefully upgrade that next season.
do they still do them cheaper gold tickets ? if they do this might become one of those seats

Up to you, but can you explain what is the problem with a Flexi, can only see advantages with it myself?
I don't think it's the Flexi that's the problem itself, it's that it's the only option given to people who want proper season tickets in the new bit of the ground.

Yes, I get that, but there is hardly any difference between the SC and the Flexi other than how and when you pay for it.Then after a year you can change up if you want, though what I 'm really asking is why would you, what do you gain from a regular SC?

I pay by DD so no up front cost. I'm certainly not decrying the flexi ticket. It may well be great for some based on their individual circumstances. Just for us, it doesn't work as well because I want to be able to choose to attend in the last few days running up to the match because of weather and health.
