They were required at test events it’s just that some didn’t bother and it wasn’t enforced.Bored of that discussion to be honest which isn’t relevant here but there is very little evidence these thin paper masks with holes at the side work. In fact most of the particles will actually go out the gaps sideways to the person sat next to you rather than absorb into the back of the head of the person in front.
3 hours is not a short period. It’s a pain. Especially when it gets to November and it’s cold it will be in the way coming off etc…
