I tried that in Google translate, and it came up with a question mark.Nobody has managed to crack it yet as far as I know. It’s one of the most secure forms of payment around.
It doesn’t actually store or use the card details you input in the device. Your card issuer creates a device-specific Device Account Number, encrypts it and sends it along with other data, such as the key used to generate dynamic security codes that are unique to each transaction.
Basically it doesn't use the details of the card you use to sign up with. When you register the card it creates device specific account number and then encrypts that. Every time you make a transaction it uses this encrypted data along with a security code that changes with every transaction.I tried that in Google translate, and it came up with a question mark.
Can you help?

People have a miss conception its not safe when it is in fact one of the most secure payment methods around
Thanks for that more simplified explanation. I still can't get my head round the terminology in my "Windows 10 for seniors" book bought for me by my daughter, but I'm getting there!Basically it doesn't use the details of the card you use to sign up with. No problem, I get its daunting for a lot and the clubs should have catered better for people who either don't have the tech or a reluctant to use it.Thanks for that more simplified explanation. As I've said before, the string broke on my last computer, and the beads fell on the floor, so I've a long way to go to become computer literate.
