Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

Does anyone know how relocation will work this year? It was too difficult for us to bother last year.

I know nothing's been confirmed yet, but didn't Liverpool fans stage a mass walkout around the 70th minute when they were told about increases and the club eventually scrapped the idea? Could something like this be done if we see the same situation?
Yes but we're City fans and will either shrug our shoulders and not renew or shrug our shoulders and say "Well it's not too bad I suppose". The only time we got off our arses was to get rid of Swales and that was about 10 years too late.

Yes, against Sunderland last season. Think it was the 77th minute as they were proposing a top priced ticket of £77 in that new stand of theirs. I would add that the walkout was the culmination of around 12 months of discussions they'd been having with the club about pricing in the new stand so wasn't just something that was decided a couple of days before. The group that organised it were as surprised as anyone that Liverpool backed down so swiftly after the walkout and were in the process of planning their next course of action.

It's a weird feeling that with all the players we have, Guardiola, the academy, etc, that this season is the most disconnected I've felt from City in 23 years.

Whether it's down to having two kids, taking on a mortgage and so on, I don't know. But this is the first time that I've ever even questioned not renewing.

A season ticket rise wouldn't help, but then the atmosphere, piss poor customer service, REFEREES!!!!, lack of academy players, etc, all has to be taken into account first. The lack of passion concerns me too and it seems to be running through the entire club.

There needs to be a huge change in the culture of the club if we're going to recapture it.

If I renew, the only reason will be to watch the likes of Gabriel Jesus and Leroy Sane develop into world class players.

This is EXACTLY how I'm feeling.

I need something to convince me to stay and just don't think it'll happen. Any price rise and that's it, for me.

There's something not right about the game at the moment. World Cup coming up next year and just not bothered one bit.

I think the passion and connectivity has affected a lot of us.

City is no longer a local side so to speak, it's now a footballing power that has to think about interests outside of Manchester more so than ever.

We are a tourist attraction now rather than a community come-together.

It saddens me to see so many unhappy blues on here and i do see all your comments as being very valid, i hope the club look at foums like bluemoon and understand how the real fan feels about our beloved club, will they do anything, we will have to wait and see.

As we get older we tend to take on more responsibilities so the football isn't the only thing in our lives and as such I think at least part of the apathy is as a result of that. Of course, there are plenty of other reasons too - for me, it's the gentrification of the game over the past 20 years or so that grates me the most but things like ever increasing ticket prices, the obsession with monetising fans, and kick-off times so often changing for TV that annoy me too. I suppose that all comes under the gentrification umbrella but if there was an announcement tomorrow that safe standing areas were going to be allowed in English football and City were going to redevelop the North Stand to embrace this with a Dortmund-style Kop and affordable tickets to boot then that alone would go a long way towards restoring my passion for the game. As it is, I still have a lot of enjoyable days out watching City but it's often because of the people I'm with rather than what happens on the pitch, and if I was to jack it in I would be bored shitless on a match day.

The problem is that the club would quite happily see an entire stadium filled with tourists from outside of the country if it meant the stadium got filled and all payed £50-£60 a ticket.
