Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

I'm not a younger fan but the whole match day experience and the soulless arrogant suits at City leave me cold, it's better than it was on the park and so it should be but to have so many fans toying with the idea of renewing says it all.

Only the few on here mate. Tens of thousands are excited to renew

Think you may have not bothered reading my first post. I was replying to those moaning about renewal. My idea is to offer discount to young non moaning fans. I was not criticising you. As I do not know you. I was being critical of the masses on here moaning about season ticket renewal Or those bragging about watching every game in a bar for the last 8 years. You cannot have read the thread if you cannot see the general negativity of older fans.

A cheap shot to have a dif at me for that.

" cheap shot" was aimed at all moaning "fans" not you if you're not moaning. And there are cheap tickets if they can be bothered to investigate

no ones forcing you to pay for expensive beer or food. we have a great stadium, and we watch some of the best football in england. the half time cheese stuff you can just ignore and go on the concourse. the city square stuff you can just go in a pub beforehand. you might not be referring to those things. but for me the match day experience is good. the only thing i think is shit is the atmosphere, but thats down to the fans most of the time.

Great post - sums it up. If it's the football you want - it's well priced compared with most top clubs

Your timing was awful.

I am close to calling it a day as well, probably one more season in me, partly in the price, I've moved seats to cover increases to somewhere that's like watching on TV so why pay and travel when I can do it from home.

The excitement of Wembley has gone intact I was disappointed with all the 'experiance' waiting for the presentation against stoke.

I'm off on a ramble again......
Yes could have chose a better time to sack it lol .but paying to watch football at a ground is a piss take nowadays

It would be Better if the club could reward fans who go. Maybe 10 % discount for fans that have been season tickets holders 5 years and over. A beer voucher for members who have attended x amount of games. Games and season tickets should be priced with northern wages in mind. The corporate area's should be able to subsidise the normal fan. I'm lucky I can afford a season ticket and maybe there is way the club can help people who can't, especially the younger working fan, there should be discounts for these maybe up age 24. Again for pensioners .

Actually we're more expensive than most London clubs. Which is ridiculous.

I assume you are only comparing us with the top London clubs i.e. Arsenal Chelsea & Spurs? I'm v surprised to hear we are more expensive than them.

How much are their tickets compared with ours?

Mind you, Arsenal & Spurs haven't won as much as us recently

I did a comparison (it's probably on here somewhere) of match-day prices for a specific game against someone like Stoke or West Brom and compared it to what you'd pay at other grounds to watch the same team. I'll look for it later (I'm just going out) but the results were quite surprising. It's hard to compare season tickets on a like-for-like basis as certainly Spurs and Arsenal include some cup games. The basic package at Spurs gets you two free ones and at Arsenal you get the first seven games free.
