Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

I did a comparison (it's probably on here somewhere) of match-day prices for a specific game against someone like Stoke or West Brom and compared it to what you'd pay at other grounds to watch the same team. I'll look for it later (I'm just going out) but the results were quite surprising. It's hard to compare season tickets on a like-for-like basis as certainly Spurs and Arsenal include some cup games. The basic package at Spurs gets you two free ones and at Arsenal you get the first seven games free.

Cheers for info. From what I've read I always believed Arsenal had the most expensive tickets. Far more expensive than ours. I suppose it's use & abuse of statistics!!!!

Just found it: http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/t...an-soriano-speaks.320755/page-18#post-9309433

That's quite right. £3-4m could have made a difference but that was in 2013. There have been 3 prices rises since. As match-day prices stand you could get a cheaper ticket for a game against Stoke at Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and the rags. Our prices are up there with those clubs. There's no need for them to go up further.

Hopefully, they've left it late to announce the prices because they didn't know what they'd be.
I do wonder if the logging in on May 2nd has been in the pipeline for a good amount of time? Perhaps they were hoping that, with it being CL semi-final week, the week after the FA Cup Semi-finals, and the PL coming to a close, we'd still be in with a chance of winning all 3. In that scenario, they'd have got away with an increase. As it's not worked out quite that way, I fully expect no increase to be announced tomorrow (but then I've always been overly optimistic!!!!).

Hoping for no price increase tomorrow is a bit like asking Oliver Reed to hold your pint.

He'd have a job considering he's brown bread.

I imagine I will renew but if I can't relocate to 115, 116 or 117 then it'll be my last season. I also plan on a life change in 2018 which will cut things like football down.

I can see a few dropping them this year, it feels like ten years ago.

I know I am getting rid of one, it is less enjoyable than it was ten years ago taking everything into account.

Looking forwards to seeing the usual outlets explode around 10am this morning. God willing then I'll finally do every home match this season once Palace, Leicester and West Brom are done. Three awful kick off times and three tough matches...

Ha, I'm the opposite. As an eternal pessimist, I fully expect the mooted 5% increase and a veritable shitstorm to ensue.
