Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

I was not going to renew mainly for the reasons many have mentioned earlier . However today I went for Value Gold and with the ticket exchange money I had accrued I only had to fork out £122 for the season. The feeling of getting ripped off and not valued by the club has been cushioned by paying next to nothing next season.

If you go for value gold and you sign up to the cup schemes, are the cup tickets priced at the full cost of where your seat is allocated? I assume so.

Gone for the value gold. Saving 300 quid.Got through at 5 o' clock and there are still some lefted.

As has been pointed out if all season cards have been increased by £20 then with 40,000 of us that's an extra £800k. However some cards have actually decreased and some have been frozen so the increased revenue could actually be a lot lower. Throw in all the people who go from platinum to gold and I can't understand why City have done what they have done. I assume that the club will also generate extra income from those who invest in the tunnel club seats. The reality is with an decrease of £20 per ticket this thread would be full of people whilst still moaning the decrease isn't enough at least not giving up on the club. I only hope the club reads threads like this and act accordingly.
Spot on, and they won't because nobody at the club give a fuck about the fans

yeah but you're all moaning ****s and who gives a fuck if you can't afford it or are sick of stupid kick off times (next two home games?) or the wonderful match day experience and players wages or all seater stadiums ..stupid points rip offs and clubs who see you as a revenue stream not a supporter

I don't as I'm alright

Love Jack
Yeah, cos back in the day it was great: you never had to queue to get in; it was free entry; the view from the Platt Lane was nonpareil and the players were paid in washers. Who, in their right mind, would want to sit in one of the best stadiums in the country watching Serge, David and Jesus? I mean, really? It’s all so w*nk. Yep, let’s have a right moan at City; the club that loves to fleece its supporters (that’s why the average attendance has one past the 53k barrier for every league game this season - bet they’re all Chinese though) ; the club that dares to send emails (it was so much better when they used homing pigeons); the club that went from being a f*cking laughing stock to one of the best in the country. Yeah, what a w*nk outfit we are. They should be paying us to wtch them (and if they don’t the season after next well, well, I tell you for nothing, it’ll have reached a tipping point. Again. Only a bit tippier than this season.)

What. A. Bunch. Of. Fannies.

And another £41million due in from our shite CL performance that cost a few hundred even for the home games

I have not been affected by the ticket increase fortunately but completely agree it's not just the ticket rises individually but the whole direction of which the club is going.

More and more we see the better seats in the house being taken over by corporate groups, tunnel club, seats which were previously enjoyed by your average fan who have since been relocated. Away allocations, for the more desirable matches, dwindling to service corporate fans, boat jaunts on the Thames etc.

Even the construction of South Stand Level 3 which seemed a positive move I now view suspiciously as just the clubs way of moving those who require cheaper seats further from the action and then inflate the price of ticket they vacate to those with more disposable income.

Leaving that stand on match days is a depressing affair. Due to the lack of exits those at the back wait an age to vacate and become part of the crush on the stairway, followed by similar crushes through the fire foors and then onto the stairwells. The scenery consists of layers of plasterboard with the Fire Certificate stickers still visible as the club has not even bothered to go to the expense of a lick of paint. Contrast this to 'tunnel club' and you can see where the clubs priorities are.

The club is on a path alien to the wishes of the majority, and for me, if success comes at a cost which results in those who deserve to enjoy it being priced out it's too high a cost.

You are all a moaning load of t***s

Certainly won't spending any money inside the stadium next season, the club can forget about that.

Same goes to buying the new home shirt, being on the cup schemes etc. Enough is enough.
My ticket has gone up £15 my sons has gone up £5 my daughters has gone up £14, so that's a total of £34 or £1.78 each game, I travel 3 hours there & back.

On average it's around £10 a seat which isn't worth loosing sleep over, 19 games of Premier League football.

It's simple either don't renew or get over it.

It's not really that simple at all.
So I have to pay for all 3 season cards at a rate of £1.78 to see 19 games, that's going to hurt me.

I agree we shouldn't be paying more, but I have paid a good few £5 or £1 kids tickets & £15 or £20 cup tickets in the last few years & also Chumps League have been quite reasonable. If you think I will complain over £34 increase for 3 season cards then life is a bitch.

Just checked the various announcements for next season:
  • Rags & Chelsea frozen (and both have been for quite a few seasons),
  • Liverpool frozen,
  • Everton frozen or reduced,
  • Spurs are moving to Wembley of course but prices will be lower than at WHL,
  • Arsenal haven't formally announced yet but did promise they wouldn't be increased.

After receiving £10.3 billion between them from the new tv deal all clubs should be significantly reducing prices
