Yeah, I had an inkling I'd mixed something up as I posted but couldn't remember what exactly. They value gold and SS3 were both £299, but the VG stayed that price and SS3 now £350.

We currently have 36k, excluding those who deferred. We've never had more than 40k.It's a well known fact we have 30,000 or more season tickets he quoted the 20,000 who had not renewed not me.
Surprised by that. I thought we had 40K from club/media reports over the last few years. We currently have 36k, excluding those who deferred. We've never had more than 40k.
We did, near as dammit. About 2.5k deferred and they've not always replaced season card holders who haven't renewed one-for-one.Surprised by that. I thought we had 40K from club/media reports over the last few years.
What I said was “from those who were seasoncard holders in the first year at the Etihad”. I didn’t mean that we once had 50k and now have 30k, I mean that we’ve lost 20k of those original Etihad over the years. We have 30,000 plus season ticket holders now and you think we lost another 20,000. We have never had 50,000 plus season ticket holders.
All clubs have seats on sites mate and that's because we have a good team with good players. Viagogo wasn't interested in city vs walsall
10,000 of them were gone after that Pearce season. What I said was “from those who were seasoncard holders in the first year at the Etihad”. I didn’t mean that we once had 50k and now have 30k, I mean that we’ve lost 20k of those original Etihad over the years.
Those who’ve dropped away have been replaced, but it’s always core supporters we lose. Like so many of my friends and family who nearly all of them have dropped away due to price rises, all of them just the same kind of blues as me.

Surely he'd have seen the empty seats during the games, unless his seat is in a lower bit of the GPC stand? As I’m sure you know, we don’t operate on an equal footing when it comes to press coverage.
A United fan I know for example, swore blind that I was chatting shit that they never opened whole sections of the ground for some of their Europa League games. He genuinely believed that as he’d seen nothing whatsoever about it in the press. Whereas every empty seat at City seems to warrant a 10 page pull out.
Really in two minds about renewing. I'm lucky enough that my seat is one of the cheaper seats up in SS3 so the monthly payments are affordable. However its more a question of how many games i'm actually going to be able to afford to travel to!
I deferred this year, and last game i went to was in 2019. Just had a look at rough train prices now from Edinburgh, and you're now looking at minimum £120 return on an average weekend. On the other hand if i was to drive, following that price hike, it's got to be close to £100 there and back.
Ahhh dilemma!
