Seasoncard Renewals | Slight Price Increase

Does anyone know how you go about buying a junior season ticket but next to our existing 2 seats? The seats next to us are always on general sale but they don't seem to release them for season tickets. Last year they just said could only buy one next to us so we moved to seats where there were 3 available on relocation but then still couldn't buy an extra anywhere near us which isn't going to work for a 4 year old.

You first need to buy a junior membership and that automatically puts you on the non existent waiting list. You should then be able to upgrade it to a season ticket when all current season ticket holders have finished renewing and relocating and the Value tickets have been allocated.

As for seats that aren’t available as season tickets. They definitely exist but in what numbers and for what reason, who knows?

I had my eye on a couple in front of me for a few years. They used to be regularly taken by late comers wearing City clothing, so I assumed they were reserved for staff of some kind. But recently they’ve always been regular looking one off fans.

I’ll have another look in this years relocation window but I’d be amazed if they are available as season tickets, as they never have in the past.

It's a nightmare isn't it, he's already got a citizen's membership so that is ok, just seems if I can only buy a random ticket nowhere near me for him it won't even be used until I can relocate next year which seems to be madness! Cheers for the reply though, the seats next to our new seats never appear on the planner for sale but I've seen them on one of the resale sites so someone is buying them just to sell them to day trippers I suspect.

Was close to changing to a plonk me anywhere season ticket, but the thought of ending up on the front rows of the family stand changed my mind. :-?

When we first moved to the stadium my season ticket was the second row from the front in the what was then North stand. Great view when we were attacking that end, crap when we weren't. Also when it rained the roof offered zero protection.

Not necessarily fans selling to resale sites. I don’t know what City’s relationship with Viagogo is like these days, since they took the ticket transfer in house. But previously there’s no doubt that part of the deal was City directly providing them with tickets in bulk to sell at inflated prices.

There’s also tour operators like Sportsworld who sell packages inclusive of a match ticket, which you’d assume must come directly from the club.

Maybe these are some of the mysterious not available for season tickets batch?

My brother isn’t renewing this season so my other brother is taking it on and he was able to change it into his name online so might as well give it a try mate
Nice one going to the ticket office in the morning, will give an update on how I get on pal

That could be the case but it’s less likely because the travel partners know selling a pair of tickets is far more valuable than singles.
