Leave off mate, he's buzzing he was lucky enough to get the tickets. It's a forum for all, if he wants to share his excitement, let him. Unfortunately not everyone will get lucky today, and that's a shame, but equally those who did get lucky should be allowed to be giddy.

That's fair enough, but I was just pointing it out that there's probably a lot more ill feeling than giddyness at the moment. I wasn't particularly expecting to get one but it's opened up some questions that need answering. Such as the phrase they use for Matchday Membership benefits - "Be the first to access match day tickets" - will this be before Silver, at the same time or after they get first dibs? If I'm now behind them for the derby I might as well not bother having membership and just share my own card instead with the person who wanted this silver card.

Dunno about the silver season card people but match day members can buy every single game when they first go on sale … it’s best to buy them up front if you can afford them or as many as you can …particularly the big games because they sell out fast.

Apologies if it's already been posted but can anyone confirm when the relocation window closes (closed?). I ask because, having switched to the £299 value option for the forthcoming season, I received an email advising that the location of my new seat would be confirmed once the relocation window had closed. To date, I've heard nothing. Only then can I sign up to to the cup schemes. I can only find reference to the date the window opened on the official site.

I think they will email when or after the fixtures come out and include a link to download your season ticket to your phone … I’m guessing

Yes I’ll probably try that (and no doubt fail as usual). It’s a bit odd with my situation because there’s 3 of us but only I can make all games, another can make most games and the other just some. The other two have been sharing a card but I was hoping to get a third for those games when we all can make it. I usually miss the release of the tickets so don’t get the big games usually but I’ll try to catch it this time.

Cheers Blue, positivity is always welcome, I was half expecting to be sharing in the joy of umpteen success stories on ere, by the sounds of it I was very very lucky, but I suppose somebody had to be (I’m not normally) I genuinely feel for those that missed out, I know the feeling as I’ve been trying for a few seasons & missed out on plenty of big games

Had a notification last night on my phone that my SC in my wallet had updated. Sure enough, instead of showing the Villa game and saying pass expired it now shows 1st August, my seat details and next to Fixture: VS

I'm good to go!!!

After the initial shambles with mobile ticketing the club has got its act together, at least if you just use it yourself and never need to transfer it.

I've had my Value Gold seat allocated (East Stand Level 3). First time I have had one, Happy enough with it, great saving, if anyone has any preferences for this area rather than what they have been allocated, happy to discuss, as access for me is much easier for Colin Bell or South Stand. Reassuringly my SC Wallet also shows my new seat number as I relocated three rows down. The system works!
