I haven't received my season card and they have only taken July direct debit, not August's, so I've been on the phone to them today (no bank or address details have changed since last season).
During the first phone call they suggested to me that I had paid my seasoncard in full in July (which isn't the case) and that my seasoncard was due out to me by Thursday.
After checking my bank and confirming that this was incorrect, I called them back. They then accused me of cancelling my season card at some point during the summer (when I asked them to prove this they couldn't provide any information), which has caused them to sell my seat. Nothing more could be done at this stage until they investigated further so I had to await their phone call.
Before close of play today I still hadn't heard from them so I rang them back. They informed me the situation still hasn't changed and they're still investigating and I should receive a phone call tomorrow.
I made it clear to them again that I hadn't cancelled my season card to which they then admitted that due to the change of ticketing system during the summer this could have caused the issue.
So to cut a long story short I'm still none the wiser if I will have my season card in my seat alongside my family (as per the last 20 years), and I hope that I'm a one off and this hasn't happened to any other city fans who are expecting their season ticket through the post in the next few days...
