Seasoncards to be sent out. Paper tkts possible for Watford

Make no bones about it, any City fan acting like Mr Groom is a bit of a tosser. City fan or not. "Leisure time".. FFS! Grade A w*******

BUT.... the little cretin at the MEN, namely Chris Slater is the protagonist on this article.

He's trawling @mcfchelp

As suspected. With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Ive not got my season ticket or the paper ticket but I am not prepared to criticise the club.

I am in level 3, in a new stand, watching world class players for £299 a season.

In 99 I had to queue up for 8 hrs to get my ticket to wigan away in the semi and 11 hrs for my Gillingham ticket.

If I have to queue up for a few hours sunday no big deal. I would have gladly walked over broken glass a few years ago to see a team like this.

I cannot understand how anyone can criticise this club. We are blessed.

It is nothing more than a minor irritant. Incidentally I am travelling from over 230 miles away. I am no happy clapper but this club is outstanding in the service it provides. Looking at the overall picture I doubt there is a more fortunate fanbase.

Good man yourself there.

I hope your wait on Sunday is not too long (if it hasn't already arrived)

Can see why you'd be aggrieved if you hadn't received your ticket, but it would less hassle to contact the club and resolve it than it would be to contact the MEN to complain. Maybe it's just me, but I can't understand those who pose for a photo looking pissed off in the local paper.

I'm in the same boat as you, no seasoncard and no paper ticket as of yet. I haven't complained, i was also in that queue outside maine road for 99 final tickets, i was about 11 and camped out overnight with my dad to ensure we got tickets but the queueing for that is no comparison to this situation. It's entirely reasonable to expect to have a ticket in some form 2 days before the game when you've paid for it 3 months beforehand. I've made plans to go out early doors on Sunday as i'm sure many others have, that's now all going to fall to pieces if i'm forced to go to the ticket office probably a few hours before the game and queue for a ticket i should of received weeks ago. It's not the end of the world by any means but it's a massive inconvenience we're all going to have to endure through no fault of our own. People have every right to be pissed off at that. Just because we're all fans of the club it doesn't mean the club shouldn't be criticised when it's deserved, we'd be Liverpool fans if that were the case. Sadly, in this instance the criticism is most definitely deserved. With a good number not receiving cards or replacements, others receiving duplicate cards and the very unfortunate few being told days before the first game that their seat that they've paid for 3 months ago doesn't actually exist, it's undeniably been a complete shambles all around.

Not an advocate of running to the press, but the Club have definitely cocked-up the season cards.

They were selling tickets for the extension going off architects drawings before they actually started putting in the seats, a recipe for disaster in itself.

They offered personalised cards that never happened and no form of apology was given on the Official web site.

We still do not help ourselves as a Club - "Cups for Cock-Ups" as famously stated by Francis Lee.
