I'm not a seat counter but my gut feel is 43,000.

yet when there are only 25000 there, the magnificent word doesnt get a mention, so i presume the magnificent supporters are the 20000 who dont bother with cup games.

jrb said:Don't know if this is true, I'll find out tonight, but on Mancity.net, on the West Ham attendence thread, a poster has stated that the upper section for the away fans has been given to City fans and is sold out. Could be nonsense of course. If it's true it would explain the large amount of unsold seats still left in the 3rd tiers. Another poster counted just over 900 today. Down from 1400 over the weekened. Still going for 44-45K. BTW. Last seasons fixture against West Ham oNly pulled 36K. what a difference a year makes.
