i look forward to hearing from the announcer

"thank you for your magnificent support tonight"

yet when there are only 25000 there, the magnificent word doesnt get a mention, so i presume the magnificent supporters are the 20000 who dont bother with cup games.

Thats VERY VERY funny...and very true...I have just realised that I am not a magnificent supporter...(sighs)

You certainly wouldn't be the first...

Don't know if this is true, I'll find out tonight, but on Mancity.net, on the West Ham attendence thread, a poster has stated that the upper section for the away fans has been given to City fans and is sold out. Could be nonsense of course. If it's true it would explain the large amount of unsold seats still left in the 3rd tiers. Another poster counted just over 900 today. Down from 1400 over the weekened. Still going for 44-45K. BTW. Last seasons fixture against West Ham oNly pulled 36K. what a difference a year makes.

That's a 25% increase (if it's 45k) which is stunning, esp since it's on ESPN...

I'm not going tonight (money, time, ESPN...) and I'm usually very guilty about missing, but tonight I feel like I'm really missing out, rather than not doing my duty, which is different!

Anyway still looking fwd to watching (in HD) and hoping against hope for a good win and at least one RSC goal.

Gutted. Was going to drive down tonight (im a student from Huddersfield) but for £35 a ticket it seems stupid when I could stay at home and watch on TV.
