Seat Counters - 2022/23

I mentioned this in a previous thread but do you think prices STARTING at £68.00 might have something to do with it?
You + 1 would cost £136.00 if you got the cheapest tickets.
SIXTY EIGHT POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!

Think i paid that for our FA Cup final ticket
The time is the overiding factor as the game.was sold out when it was a weekend.

Liverpool was £72 on L2 in the Carabao Cup.

Success and Haaland is blinding us to these increasing matchday seat ticket prices.

Once we’d condemn lower seat ticket prices than these. Now there’s hardly any complaints.

I doubt it will happen, but going back to £60 for an away ticket will face a massive backlash.

But as with everything, supply and demand will usually be the winner. If I don’t pay it, somebody else will.

I‘m doing Leeds away and coach travel for less.

I’m in all the cup Schemes. I’ve never complained about those prices for a good reason. They are cheap. But like many City fans I’m tied into the cup schemes not only to watch City, but to get loyalty points for the away tickets, as City did away with away loyalty points for attending away games. I’ve also got a Platinum season ticket. £50 more. More loyalty points towards away tickets.

The next step by City will be awarding loyalty points only if you actually attend home matches. I’ve missed a few home matches of late due to a left knee problem. I’ve also been off work due to it, losing pay. I’ve began receiving emails from City asking me to put my seat ticket on the seat ticket exchange if I’m not going to the matches. City are now tracking me and fans who don’t use their season tickets. Some City fans will see that as a positive step.

The 93:20 tickets for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup were “free” within people’s season card packages. The first 3 home cup games are included in the season card price (that are admittedly overpriced as season cards to begin with). I think it’s the same in Joe’s.

Supply and demand doesn’t really have an impact on away tickets. Southampton away in the Carabao Cup at least gives more chance for Blues to see us away.

What’s the crack with the rearranged fixture against Spurs with the people who put the game on the exchange but are now able to go to the new fixture? They said they would be in contact with those supporters but I’ve heard nothing. Only just seen it’s next month so I’ll be ringing them on Wednesday.
I had an email a few weeks ago/late November where I could 'pull' the ticket back by clicking a small proforma at the end of the email.

Yep, I’ve just found it. I was away in America on holiday so didn’t bother looking at my emails. Absolute shite system that is, it should just come back available to you, nothing surprises me with our ticket office. Useless fuckers.

I was in the same boat as you. I missed a total of five matches at the end of last season and the start of this one (through illness) but every one sold quickly on the seat planner. I think it is fair to only give points to those who attend matches. Like you I fork out for Platinum for the points but disagree with the overall system of buying points.
