Seat Counters - 2023/24

I remember when the youth got a cut of the away tickets. Some of the FOC’s were moaning about that. “It means less away tickets for other City fans” Now nobody moans about that now. It‘s part and parcel of the away ticket allocation. It’s accepted. I thought it was a good idea from the start. Giving the youth a chance of getting an away ticket. And having a more vocal away end, which has been proved right, especially this season.

Bit more complex though these days, with Argentinians, Koreans and whoever else these days get their hand on away tickets, because you can be rest assured there will be plenty of them at Wembley if there are plenty at the Etihad, and some long term supporters will miss out, that's where that argument will never go away now, never mind the younger supporters, I'm all for that as well but I often look and think how the fuck have they got tickets for there really.

But as I've said before I'll keep going week in week out with my £55 increase for the coming season whilst I can.

No problem with youth getting tickets but this season with my points I have got less away tickets. Been to most games but have to beg for spares.
Fed up of this but I will continue.

That's simply not true though is it? They had the choice of picking whichever price was available when it got to their points - they chose to buy through the Osc and pay the price they were given.
The accusation earlier in the thread was that Supporters Club Branches had free rein to choose cheaper ticket bands and this was proven to be a lie. Yes I could have got a cheaper ticket buying outside my Branch but I chose to be with the group. That’s part of the offer of being in the OSC. Maybe the OSC allocation has been too generous for this final but I assume it’s been the agreed 19% or 20%. That said, few posters were worried when Supporters Club members have filled half our away ends in recent years for low profile Champions League away games, rather than leave hundreds of empties:

I’ve lost track of the seat counter situation but are we now at the point where every season card holder has had the chance of a ticket but there’s only 600 very expensive tickets left??

For me the crucial thing is for points to get the 60% (or 57% discounting 3/5ths of the 18-25 tickets) thet has been promised.

Only on sale currently to those with 7.5k+ points, so a significant chunk of seasoncard holders yet to have the chance to buy with only the most expensive tickets now left.

We are nowhere near all season ticket holders having had the chance to buy its at 7500 points, with 6 windows left for Season holders to buy - good chance it sell out tomorrow in the first window at 6000 points, but difficult to guess with the price of tickets.

With regards the osc allocation obviously it's guesswork but it's seems they have gotten more then usual looking at the evidence, IE it appears all branches have got what they asked for and the fact that 20k went on sale in the opening window last year and approx 14k this year.

Probably around 5k ST holders left - plus those who could already buy waiting for better or cheaper seats. Just over 600 tickets.

If around a third buy it sells out at 1pm.

And then they release the extra tickets at lower prices and the next level of moaning starts..
Strange comment. If tickets have been held back, which seems very unlikely, why would they do that and restrict choice for fans who are both annoyed about the distribution and can't afford to pay 250 quid for an effin ticket !? It would not be the "next level of moaning ", it would be yet another totally justified criticism of the club !

Thanks for the helpful info about ticket windows.
