Seat Counters - 2023/24

I agree mate ...the pricing is ridiculous..
I'm a season ticket holder so I'm lucky but if I had to pay for games game by game I couldn't and wouldn't pay the prices that City are charging..
It doesn't matter whether it's Burnley or Barcelona we are playing our fan base is still predominantly working class Mancunians who are loaded.
I get that we need to increase profits to stay competitive but there is a limit to what fans can and will pay..
I’m not sure how much we really need to increase match day profits to remain competitive. I get they don’t want to fall further behind but it’s such a small percentage of overall revenue. Personally I think it’s a pissing contest between the executives and the fans are paying for it.

And in any case, match day revenue will rise considerably once the North Stand expansion is completed

Kev Parker won't publically come out and say shit about the ridiculous pricing for this and other matches!

I’m sure Kevin Parker does a lot of work behind the scenes for the fans. That’s what we’re told.(on here) But in public it doesn’t come across that way. People will say what matters is what Kevin Parker discusses and does in private with the club on behalf of the (OSC) City fans. But it’s also important that the fans know in public what Kevin Parker discusses and does on behalf of the (OSC) City fans with the club. Kevin Parker’s social media accounts don’t show that, so as it is stands, Kevin Parker doesn’t seem to be speaking on behalf of (OSC) City fans with the club. I don’t know what he‘s discussing with the club on our behalf. Do any of you? Regular updates on subjects like high ticket prices would clarify that. Irrespective of Kevin Parker being one of the City Matters reps.

The 14th of December City Matters meeting with the club minutes.(Kevin Parker didn’t attended and apologised)

Or maybe a dad taking his young son can’t justify £100+ to watch us play Burnley midweek at the end of January

It’s expensive, no doubt, but let’s not exaggerate.

An adult and junior members in the family stand is £84.

Oh, that's alright then. Proper bargain that!

Incidentally, where are you getting £84 from? I'm a season ticket holder and currently logged in. If I want an adult and a child ticket in the family stand it's coming out at £94. Is there a £5 per ticket discount for Cityzens?

Rags.

You have to buy a membership card to be able to buy a match day ticket. Just like our Citizens card.

Adult

Premium: £65
Full: £40
Lite: £35
Forwarding: £15
Junior: £20

Part of what happens is that Roel de Vries and Danny Wilson come to the OSC Exec Meetings a couple of times per year and answer questions from people who run Supporters Club Branches. Questions are asked about prices and the cost of junior tickets is criticised. No doubt Kevin has other conversations behind the scenes.

I can’t get to many of the OSC Exec Meetings and it’s a shame that the notes that are shared are limited. This wasn’t always the case. IIRC, posters on here shares the notes in the past and tried to put a negative spin on anything to do
With the OSC.

Anyway, Sir Kevin secured the trophies coming round the Country and beyond at no cost to Branches. City charged us previously. This benefitted members and non members alike and helped to grow our fan base. We were overwhelmed with the turnout in North Yorkshire with approaching a 1,000 people attending our trophy night.

Our Cheapest adult match day ticket against Burnley is £61. Out most expensive adult match day ticket against Burnley is £78.

Simon made a good point about the train strike reducing ticket demand for Burnley at home. I normally rolled into
leeds after midnight after midweek home game and there hundreds of Blues getting off the train.
