So on that basis we could reduce tickets by £2 based on a 50,000 crowd to make the same margin. The argument for reduces ticket price shouldn't be on a financial basis as City will win that every time, the argument should be based on City looking after our current fanbase, and trying to expand our future fanbase.

The fuck up with Newcastle tickets was not allowing cup scheme members / SC holders the opportunity to buy multiple tickets. They have done now but it's too late as you won't be able to get family and friends anywhere near you. Would have sold out easily if they had done this even with the relatively high end pricing.
 
simply trade off what you can charge extra to the fans against the loss from unsold tickets, and if you're final result is in the green, the accounts manager couldn't give a f**k

Whoever is managing this shit shower is not up to the job.

Imagine getting a vibey quarter final draw and managing to magic a farce where thousands of seats unsold, manage to yet again alienate almost the entire match going fan base, and tee up the media for 2 or 3 days content on how shit our support is.

You would swear somebody is trying to sabotage the club from the inside.

The ticket office and whichever clown runs the pricing and sale arrangements fuck it up time and time again.

It won't happen, but you never know.

Sheikh Mansour apparently watches every City match. If Sheikh Mansour is sat next to Khaldoon watching the match, I hope Mansour asks Khaldoon why there are 1000's of empty seats at the match. If Khaldoon doesn't know, I hope he asks Soriano, as he will know.
