IMO that shouldn’t automatically be the case.
City could/should be a point of difference.
We should be the real ‘community club’ with a policy commitment of providing the best value /lowest cost season tickets/matchday tickets (excluding corporate) in English football.
This would still enable flexibility and a degree of dynamic pricing, but would always be best value/lowest cost for the fixture.
Over a short period of time ALL games would be sold out, all categories of fans, young ,old,local,tourists etc, would be catered for, demand would increase thus increasing the size of our ‘fan Parc’, and long term goodwill and positive PR would be generated.
I’m really perplexed that top officials at the club pronounce on the ‘community club’ stage but don’t capture the opportunity to deploy and develop it.
