Might as well transfer your ticket for free because they are not shifting for Burnley at these prices. . If you can't go why not let a lapsed Blue go. Just a thought. Better than having a few thousand empty seats.
Just sell it at a sensible price, what's the problem.Might as well transfer your ticket for free because they are not shifting for Burnley at these prices. . If you can't go why not let a lapsed Blue go. Just a thought. Better than having a few thousand empty seats.
Pricing is shocking but your right most will shift by game day !If tickets are left, the biggest sales are the 2-3 days before the game, plus the morning of. Still a week away yet.
The prices are a disgrace. £60 plus quid for Burnley at home is a joke.Pricing is shocking but your right most will shift by game day !
Majority of them are due to Burnley not using the top tier. But agreed the pricing is scandalous.3k left, shocking prices
True, but I think the Burnley game is an outlier. Midweek, in winter, Burnley returned nearly half their allocation, more fans than normal have put their ticket on the exchange for resale, and the cheapest adult ticket is £61.Soriano and City will only learn the hard financial way. The more they keep on increasing ticket prices, the less chance matches will sell out, especially when the Etihad is expanded to 62,000.

Put all that together and it’s going to be a hard sell even for fans who don’t normally get much of a sniff for league games. And the midweek kick-off against a team not considered one of the bigger clubs in the league (no offence to Burnley) isn’t going to attract too many tourists either.
All that is true, so why are they £60+?True, but I think the Burnley game is an outlier. Midweek, in winter, Burnley returned nearly half their allocation, more fans than normal have put their ticket on the exchange for resale, and the cheapest adult ticket is £61.

There isn't going to be thousands of seats unsold though is there? The majority are season tickets on the exchange which are already sold and will come off sale 3 hours (?) Before kick off, there's 800+ which Burnley have returned with still a week to go.That’s fair enough mate. But it Still doesn’t explain or excuse the ridiculous ticket prices for the game, at this time of year, midweek, and against Burnley.
Hypothetical know. As it stands from what the seat counters are posting, if the NS was expanded now, there could be between 10,000 and 11,000 seats for sale for the game atm.(depending on how City would sell the additional 8000 NS seats)
We can say what world do the people running City live in? They live in the real world just like we do. And yet they still sell the tickets at those prices knowing full well the match isn’t going to sell out with 1000’s of seats still unsold.

No it was never sold out.Wasn’t the game sold out at one point before the exchange opened and away returns?
Genuine question btw.
No it was never sold out.
It was sold out originally, they then added the exchange seats, Burnley returns and suspected hospitality returns earlier this month.Right, cheers. At least they’ve had the sense to open it up so you can buy extra tickets.
Think that might be the first league game they’ve done that for since they signed Haaland.
