Good on Fulham fans for the boycott. Lowest price for the Newcastle game was £40. Considering it was televised and early in the competition that’s scandalous. All those empty seats killed the atmosphere and certainly didn’t help the team. If Fulham had priced it correctly they would’ve had a full house roaring them on.Poor, very poor
Listened to Fulham’s response to their ticketing prices questions from Saturdays game and hoping we aren’t going in that direction
Still seats unsold v Burnley. That's what happens when you charge an adult & u18, £94, for 2 tickets against Burnley on Wednesday night in January , with schools back, in SSL1-115. Even more expensive elsewhere. Club also slow to let S/T holders buy extra fromBurnley’s returns.

I agree with what you are saying about work, school, public transport etc, but if it was the dippers on Wednesday instead of Burnley none of that would matter and the stadium would be sold out. This one is down to over-pricing and apathy.Mid-week night matches with work and school the next day do not help matters. Public transport being down to 3rd World standards also put people off.
I am off an age when the only time you played mid-week was if you had an FA Cup replay.
I was told by a few different people that I was being dramatic and they would all be gone by the day of the game. It’s no wonder the club think they can do what they want.
Saw a lot of empty seats for their match against Norwich.I agree with what you are saying about work, school, public transport etc, but if it was the dippers on Wednesday none of that would matter and the stadium would be sold out. This one is down to over-pricing and apathy.
I meant if we were playing the dippers on Wednesday. I’ve edited my post to clarify.Saw a lot of empty seats for their match against Norwich.
Yes I agree, doubt many Burnley fans will bother,I meant if we were playing the dippers on Wednesday. I’ve edited my post to clarify.
Liverpool’s pricing has just been posted on this thread, it’s miles better than ours. All the top premier clubs do what they want get with it..
Kev Parker won't publically come out and say shit about the ridiculous pricing for this and other matches!
Outside of those not taken up by Burnley, a lot will indeed be exchange tickets but if you look at East Stand Level 3, there are a disproportionately high number of tickets in a couple of blocks compared to the rest of the home areas. My guess is that a lot of those were originally earmarked for third party ticketing agencies and were never on sale to members before the start of the season, but have now been chucked onto the planner due to low take-up with it being a midweek game in January. Now if those had been available back in the summer, members might've snapped some of them up. Most fans aren't going to make that decision this close to the game though, especially with a rail strike on.Those have no tickets left, it doesn't go up as sold out now if it is a PL Home game as there will be exchange tickets.
Burnley was exactly the same, no tickets left, but the away allocations are repurposed in the last month, then various seats held back for players, hospitality etc are put on along with Exchange seats.
Or maybe a dad taking his young son can’t justify £100+ to watch us play Burnley midweek at the end of JanuaryThere were a few threads at the backend of last season that seemed to be suggesting there were thousand upon thousand of loyal diehard members, who couldn’t get season tickets and were desperate for a chance to attend any game they could.
But the club were denying them the chance by not staggering the members window.
This seems to point to that number aren’t quite as great as people were making out. Or maybe there’s not actually that much interest outside the big games?
We've got loads of fans waiting in the wings but - and this is no disrespect to the opposition - Burnley at home in midweek in January is going to be a hard sell even to those fans who want to attend more games. Especially at £61-£63 for an adult ticket and £188 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. That's higher than any other club outside of London. In fact, it could well be the highest price in the country as I don't even think renowned rip-off merchants Arsenal and Tottenham would be stupid enough to charge that much for Burnley at home for a January midweek match. There were a few threads at the backend of last season that seemed to be suggesting there were thousand upon thousand of loyal diehard members, who couldn’t get season tickets and were desperate for a chance to attend any game they could.

I agree mate ...the pricing is ridiculous..Or maybe a dad taking his young son can’t justify £100+ to watch us play Burnley midweek at the end of January
Is the correct answerOr maybe a dad taking his young son can’t justify £100+ to watch us play Burnley midweek at the end of January
This would indicate there’s plenty of ST holders who also aren’t interested. There were a few threads at the backend of last season that seemed to be suggesting there were thousand upon thousand of loyal diehard members, who couldn’t get season tickets and were desperate for a chance to attend any game they could.
