Seat Counters - 2024/25

Still more than a week to go before the match so we shouldn't be giving Forest any of our tickets just yet as tickets are still shifting, particularly when the £30 and £45 ones become available as blocks open up. The club could also relax criteria further to cater for those fans who aren't current members but have a purchase history. There must be thousands and thousands of fans who fall into that category.
I just can't see many "regulars" choosing to go late notice. Hopefully, as you say, more members can take up the burden.

I'd just rather the place was full rather than there be swathes of empty seats for songs to die in. It's a soulless enough bowl as it is

And how was anyone logging in yesterday - and I'm talking those in the queue for the 11am and 3pm windows rather than after teatime when a couple of blocks opened up - able to buy them?
Over 400 ticket's have sold in those 2 cheaper blocks that were opened last night.
And that's without any official communication coming from City .

I got slaughtered for saying this, and it is exactly this, look on twitter, look on Facebook, nothing to do with cost, just not interested, we don’t have a passionate fanbase anymore, if you were keen you would find 30;quid for a ticket no problem
But 30 quid is only the beginning. My car does 60 mpg so it's around £40 for fuel plus another £20 to park near the ground. Or less in fuel and add public transport costs to the ground. But there's still food and drink to take into account and while I could make a mountain of butties it still costs money.
Those who insist on ten pints are of no interest.
I'll be going because it's a competitive game at Wembley, and I agree when you say some within our fanbase might be becoming apathetic, however just looking at the ticket prices alone is not a true reflection of the cost for the trip.

I am also being blocked from buying extra tickets. Too much of City’s ticketing is designed to help people who don’t attend games on a regular basis including the zero attendance requirement season cards.
This looks like a monumental fuck-up. There could be hundreds or even thousands more tickets that might've sold if fans were able to actually physically buy extra tickets as advertised by the club.

the criteria can't be any more relaxed that what it is? any one who wants a ticket will have got one.

Exactly. Imagine how many would've gone if they had communicated that they were opening those blocks up. It's fucking shambolic this from the club, even by their own utterly wank standards regarding ticketing. I also question why Forest were able to get their tickets on sale a full 2 days before we put ours on sale.

There are 12 blocks on level 2 that are greyed out which account for approximately 3,800 seats.

If all the remaining blocks allocated to MCFC have been put on sale by my reckoning we have sold about 25.5k todate.

I agree mate. Members and non-members with a purchase history will take up a lot of the slack if they're all allowed to buy them. But we also seem to have a situation where some qualifying ST holders and members aren't able to buy extra tickets even though the club have said they can.

There’s also an IT problem mate with getting stuck on the ticket value you’ve previously purchased at. So if you’ve already bought a £70 ticket it’s not straightforward switching to cheaper price categories for additional tickets in the recently released blocks. I’ve logged in and out a couple of times to get to the cheaper tickets but it wouldn’t let me buy them anyway!

I wonder if this second problem is linked to the rushed out links that were sent out to OSC members. I am just guessing and it might be totally unrelated.

You could say that for anything, for a lot of people they do this trip every single game, 40 plus times a season

Jesus - it gets worse this. You can imagine those who don't have the time to fiddle around with it just logging out and fucking it off

Leaving about 8,000 to sell…. 800 a day or so. Not beyond impossible if City release them sensibly. Probably some money making algorithm behind it all.

Level 5 - 2551 (Up from yesterday but remember 2 more of the cheaper blocks with well over 1000 tickets in total have gone on sale and tickets are shifting out of those at a decent-ish rate despite City communicating fuck-all to fans about it)
Level 2 - 887 (Again, up a bit from yesterday so City probably found some down the back of the sofa)
Level 1 - 1841

5279 in total (+5500-5700 ish still to go on sale)

I’ve reached a tipping point. £200+ minimum for my daughter and me to attend (£100 train from Leeds; £60 tickets and £40 food and drink and that’s being realty careful all day). And then having to do it all again with higher prices 3 weeks later. Something has to give. And all of this on the back on the need for recent protests City and the FA can stick it where the sun don’t shine.
The other factor I forgot to mention. My daughter is in school the next day and I’m in work. If it was a 3pm kick off, a coach or other train options would be available, potentially bringing the price down. Currently there’s only one train possible to catch, getting in at gone midnight, factoring in potential extra time and penalties and an hour from Wembley to Kings X. The TV companies can do one too.

Those seats are not in City's allocation, they are Wembleys to allocate

I do around 40 games a season from Leeds for every game.

But there comes a point when it feels like the club, the FA, Wembley, TV companies and public transport costs are taking the piss out of you.

I went to every Wembley game for ages. Then I missed one of the Charity Shield games and realised fuck it. It doesn’t matter whether I’m there or not. I’ll pick and choose when I attend and do it on my terms.

I bet your Daughter is gutted though.
I still remember vividly trips to Wembley with my Dad,
