I don’t think they did. Most people aren’t seat counters or have them to lean on for advice. I think that a lot of people would have taken kids or family members or friends but once they’d bought their own seats that’s it. Plans were made, travel sorted etc. The evidence is before your eyes: they did a “plus three”‘thing with the charity shield against arsenal and they all sold out fairly quickly.I don't really buy that. Everyone knew they would get a ticket at some stage.
You were either going or not. Unfortunately it was mostly not.
It's logistics. Always underestimate.I don’t think they did. Most people aren’t seat counters or have them to lean on for advice. The biggest reason for me is Sunday 4.30. I think if it was the Saturday game it would have sold much better. So why is this not selling out?
Well it was all the blocks I counted apart from the grey blocks which I believe it's sold out in them areas, anyway tomorrow it's general sale I believePlus a massive chunk (estimated at 7000) which didn’t go on sale.
Sales around the 20k mark or could be lower.
The new blocks 535, 534 are selling steadily. They have 401, 540 seats respectively at 10pm compared to 426 and 566 at 7pm.There are about 350 greyed out seats in 535, 534 and they have 426,566 seats on sale in these block as at 19.11 hours. That means sales are continuing at a reasonable rate assuming these blocks were full of empty seats when they were opened today. If you use the current empty seat numbers in these 2 blocks we can easily track the sales.
The teams performances dropped off a cliff this season and it has rubbed off on the fans.A lot of blame on the prices, kick off times , too many trips to Wembley etc.. which is true but the big elephant in the room is the apathy and lack of passion from a lot of our supporters. It’s the worst I’ve known it , a lot of our fans simply cannot be ar**d and I have a lot of my own mates in this category. I suppose it’s the price of success but it makes me sad big time , especially looking at other supporter bases flourishing . Get behind the lads FFS , Pep and the team deserve better
I live roughly 1 hour 30 from Wembley and even I was thinking twice about going to this so I don’t blame folk swerving it coming from Manchester. The teams performances dropped off a cliff this season and it has rubbed off on the fans.
Really embarrassing if that’s the case we’ve won 4 in a row surely we haven’t become that entitled one not great season putting many offThe teams performances dropped off a cliff this season and it has rubbed off on the fans.
The site won't allow me to buy extra tickets unless they are in my freinds and family group. Others are having similar issues. The club have had so many opportunities to get this right over the last 14 years, but still don't have fan friendly systems in place. So why is this not selling out?
Well put them in your friends and family group,it takes approximately 30 seconds to add a supporters number and name. The site won't allow me to buy extra tickets unless they are in my freinds and family group. Others are having similar issues. The club have had so many opportunities to get this right over the last 14 years, but still don't have fan friendly systems in place.
No chanceWe’ll sell out. Chill your fucking beans

I got slaughtered for saying this, and it is exactly this, look on twitter, look on Facebook, nothing to do with cost, just not interested, we don’t have a passionate fanbase anymore, if you were keen you would find 30;quid for a ticket no problem
