Seat Counters - 2024/25

You can’t blame City for tapping into a new CIty support and revenue stream.

10,000’s of Hong Kongers have moved to Manchester escaping Chinese rule.

Because real estate is so expensive in Hong Kong most of them are pretty wealthy after selling their houses and apartments in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kongers will either support City or United. City, like United, are doing what they can to attract that Hong Konger support and their money.

PS. I work for a retail company. The membership has exploded with Hong Konger members, who are spending a lot of money.

Where were they all when we were shit?

The game wasn't sold out in August

Only the general sale tickets were sold out with thousands held back in the hope if shifting the rest with expensive corporate packages.

If we were top of the league and flying they would have all been sold.

The fickleness of a football fan and a clueless marketing strategy!

Early December when it was clear we were out of form there should have been a fire sale.
People who had already bought horrendously expensive match tickets for Everton could have been offered others at greatly reduced prices to bring someone else, could've worked.

How many people on here have looked, saw the prices and sacked it off?
Me for one. Totally unjustifiable for me. I warned of this previously when this all started and was shouted down by a few. 8 of us, ranging from 10 to 75 all watching from home today. Would have all been there in previous years :(

The club needs to take a long hard look at what it’s doing around ticketing! It might make them more money initially but to the detriment of the long term good of the club

Good, and City supporters are sat at home priced out and alienated

That’s got noting to do with my reply to your question.

Don’t blame new City fans from Hong Kong, blame the club.

Even with or without Hong Konger’s supporting City the club has still been increasing season ticket and match day ticket prices season after season for well over a decade, long before the Hing s moved over here and began supporting City.

We’ve had 1 season ticket prize freeze in that time. Has there been a match day ticket price freeze in that time? I’m asking as I don’t know.

Madness

I often see rags on social media saying that they can't afford to attend the games etc.

The same rags then mock city for a couple of empty seats when matchday tickets were circa £70. These morons don't acknowledge their hypocrisy.
