There were quite a few rows empty in the family stand and elsewhere. All the club needed to do was price tickets sensibly
Have to admit, this no transferring thing that people have mentioned really concerns me. Since covid my mate who I go with has been coming less and less, fortunately my youngest daughter (you know, that next generation of fans that used to be so important to clubs) has been coming more and more. It hasn't been a problem though as we've just transferred his season ticket to me on a match by match basis and she's now a proper hard core blue who has had pretty much the entire club shop bought for her for Christmas! He's already said he thinks this will be his last and to see if I I'm effect wants to buy it next season. I'm guessing that won't be worth doing if I can't then transfer it to my daughter.
And what ?
Most can be seen in Alty! You can’t blame City for tapping into a new CIty support and revenue stream.
10,000’s of Hong Kongers have moved to Manchester escaping Chinese rule.
Because real estate is so expensive in Hong Kong most of them are pretty wealthy after selling their houses and apartments in Hong Kong.
The Hong Kongers will either support City or United. City, like United, are doing what they can to attract that Hong Konger support and their money.
PS. I work for a retail company. The membership has exploded with Hong Konger members, who are spending a lot of money.
Why take them off sale, unless it's to give them to club employees. Plenty of fans live within 3 hours of the ground.Season ticket holders seats get taken off the Seat exchange 3 hours before kick off, that's the reason for the big reduction in available tickets.
That might depend on where you sit in the stadium? I sit in CBL3 near the North Stand, there were lots of empty seats up in South Stand L3.i didn't think there were many empty seats today if I'm honest
